Matt super specific question - does your supplier fill your pouches and then ship to 3PL or do you have to ship somewhere to fill and pack THEN ship to 3PL?

supplier does it all currently, so they fill and then goes direct to 3PL - arguably more expensive but keeps it simple + avoids headaches - very important things at this stage

what are profits on a business like this etc not wanting his numbers but just rough idea (for powders, supplements etc)?

That’s like asking how long is a piece of string haha - completely depends what margins are on the product, what overheads are, how much spending on marketing etc, how established they are what repeat customer rate/subscribers over time etc - but generally most legitimate ecom brands (not dropshipping stores who pretend they’re VAT exempt etc and never hire people properly) would aim for ~ 10% EBITDA while growing - many huge brands aren’t even profitable, but rarely see more than 10-15% EBIT on a real brand - exceptions of course but can read about many brands in public eye - impossible to elaborate on this answer enough in comments - May do a video about this and my thoughts 🔮

@@themidnightpod thank you for the great response emicb appreciated . I just think there is a lot of people online who dress up sexy top line figures and everyone making out they killing it. Then year or so later you hear their d2c brand failed etc or was nt all it appeared to be like birch ox etc so would be great to see this issue of profit and sustainable biz highlighter vs a lot of th crash and burn fugazi that is hyped online. Thanks
