It happens to every keeper at some point. Very brave for sharing as it’s not spoken about enough. This season has been one of my toughest because of this.

I'm from New Zealand 🇳🇿, football here isn't as big as I would like it to be but I love it. Being a keeper is the hardest job in the sports world, on the pitch and especially on the bench. I've watched you since day one. You will always be the #1 in my eyes, keep this channel and football going. Much love from New Zealand 🇳🇿

Great content mate keep your head up, the way I see it is it's better to have competition for places to drive us to improve than having an automatic place and falling into bad habits, this will make you a better player in the long run I know it, just keep performing at the level you know you are capable of and the games will come

If I remember well, I think I've managed to watch on TV one of the last games ever played at Råsunda when I was still a child! The stadium was demolished in order to make space for AIK's current stadium, the Friends Arena (which evokes terrible memories for my beloved Italy, by the way... 😅😂). I don't doubt that it was tough to say goodbye to such a history-making stadium, but I'm happy to see they're keeping remembering it!

We've all been there and we can all say that it's even harder when your team is winning but you're not playing as you feel like you will never get your spot back... But it's a long season and anything can happen, keep griding at training and outside at the gym, keep that positive mindset. No doubt you'll get your spot back bro!

I have a vid that should help explain (just search glove wash on the channel), but I wash them in the shower, and use a nail rush (lightly) to help to clean them. I then squeeze them out, and hang them up in a cool place (away from sunlight) to dry

I only got to play one game last season, and it was sooo frustating because it actually cost us the season championship, that i didnt play. Buuuut i was patient, and this season was i the player with the most caps and we came a long way in the danish u19 national cup, beating some of the best youth teams, with me saving us in the penalty shootout. So dont worry mate, your time will come❤❤

Hi Connor, great vid and really informative training breakdown! Quick question: how would you suggest a GK training alone could practice catching crosses? I do have a rebounder, but it’s not great/I don’t know that I could accurately hit it at a distance consistently; any advice would be appreciated. Keep up the good work chasing improvement! 👍🏻

Also, a great idea if Frankie’s going exploring, if she got any phone footage of where she went would be great to see somewhere in the vid! Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs, just a suggestion. 👍🏻😜
@ConorOKeefe Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! In the Solo Goalkeeper Training vid, I used a wall for practicing crosses alone - throwing it against the wall to try and get a similar trajectory! I found that more effective than using the rebounder! And Frankie would love that, we'll have to start bringing it in!

Being a Goalkeeper is tough man. I thought you'll be at least in the second tier after winning the league. Tell your agent to try harder to get in the Championship club in England. With your experience and discipline, I guarantee they will be interested.

Mainly through repetition mate! Build up from your knees, get used to the landing, and get as many reps as you can so that you make it second nature
