Ive noticed that with any robotics competition the design and build is 50% of the formula. The other 50% is thr driver. I good driver will beable to precisely and accurately maneuver around thr opponents and actually get hits.

I know this may be too much but what if you try to make RWBY weapons that actually work kind of like the weapons like how yang is able to explode stuff with her fist how wise is able to use different stuff two like freeze burn the enemy and stuff like that how Yang's sister Ruby is able to shoot dust from her weapon to explode or freeze or other stuff like that that's also a scythe how Blake's weapon is a sword within a sword and also a gun that kind of stuff

@@phantominway basically a bot that can "glue" itself to the arena floor and has a shell armor made from interchanging rings spinning in opposite directions. Maybe 2-4 rings 2-5 cm thick steel plates and it would be about 1mm from the floor once it anchors itself to the arena floor

@@antoniocavric4322 The glue to the floor thing could be difficult as the main way you lose is by getting counted out due to lack of movement so if your bot is stuck in one spot then the judges will likely start counting it out

@@phantominway that's the thing it would "glue" or "anchor" itself temporarily in order to deflect incoming impacts for defense and just smash into others as offence. Something like a beyblade with anchoring system that will move when attacking and firmly stay put when defending. Only thing that I don't know is, how much of the movement can bot be lacking in order for judges to count it out.
