My mom's birthday often falls on Mother's Day and she's always loved that. We combine the two holidays and she never wants it any other way. I can't believe he considers it a "bummer" that two holidays celebrating him coincide. Can he really be that immature? Abby saying "I failed you" is so sad because she was literally pregnant and she STILL threw him a birthday party. Smh

This is a joke right? Or is for real? Like I am serious, it has to be a joke 🤔 My bday is feb 11, 3 days before Valentine’s Day and 14 days before my anniversary and my husband gives me a big gift for those 3 dates and we pick one day to celebrate valentines and anniversary or my bday and the anniversary of we want to celebrate with the kids, wherever work that year 😅… there was a time where we celebrated my bday while in a soccer tournament weekend my son had every year and it was amazing!! The best gift was watching my son doing what he loves, he is 16 now and I thank God I never complained about it…time passes by so fast! 🥺 I got married at 19, my husband was 24. That was 23 years ago 😅. To be honest, we have never cared about “dates” in general…you don’t need one day to celebrate your partner for being a father or a mother or to celebrate your love…any day it’s good for picking up flowers at the store and buy a gift for your wife… I know you are a young couple, like I said I’ve been there 😊, but you have 2 kids now so it’s time to be more mature and grow up, specially you Matt. If this is serious (I am still thinking it may be a joke 🙃) it’s one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard (so I think at the end it’s still a joke 🤣🤣🤣) there are kids who are born in Xmas, understand the situation and are OK with it! So Matt isn’t even acting like a child! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Again this is soooo funny to me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

My dad’s birthday is on father day most of the time. He is 68 and looked at it as a blessing. Can celebrate him all day long for him. It’s so immature to take it so personal. I guess with age you won’t care. I just find this such immature thinking.

Yeah same but she made it seem like they weren’t celebrating Father’s Day at all instead of moving it to another day. Honestly I have had friends complain that their birthday is close to Christmas because they only get one celebration/gift. That being said they begrudgingly accept it and haven’t heard of any of my friends moving one of the two celebrations to another time. I don’t care about how any of these people decide to lead their lives but I’m really failing to see how this is disrespectful of the father?

No, I totally get this. My birthday is just a couple days before valentines day, in my life I've received a lot of repurposed valentines gifts. Like my birthday was just an extension of the holiday . My daughter's birthday is a couple days before Christmas, and I have made a huge effort to keep the two separate, often celebrating hers a week in advance. Now in our case it's actually easier to do that because those are static dates, they don't shift around like father's day.

This is so ungrateful/ delusional. Oh, of course 😒 she throws, "I grew your baby inside me" I used to follow them but I no longer do. Ever father that's present and active in their children's lives DESERVES father's day. So what if it's close to his bday. Bet if mothers day was close to her bday she would be planning a big blow out for both occasions with her friends and family. She's horrible for even thinking not to celebrate Father's day.
