Hey everyone, thank you for the comments! I will talk about this more in the next part. For now I do want to apologize for starting Ziggys renovation in a members video. I will not do that again. I guess I got excited to plan it a little for the main video. The inbetweenies are snippets of what I work on off camera. There was probably in total 4 hours off cam searching for the rainbow treat. About 30 mins was filmed for members. So Beatrice pop up, chicken clothes were fully off cam while I waited for days in the game to pass. Dang rainbow treat! Anyway, I appreciate your feedback and never want to upset people. I want to always make the best and most entertaining (but also chill) vids possible so that’s why I do the prep work of repetitive stuff off cam, so we do the fun stuff while filming. Filming for this ep took about 2 hours. So it’s unfortunately just too long to have another 4 hours worth of searching for a rainbow treat in the video too. Appreciate you guys :) xx

I think you are fully justified in saving certain things for members. Creators need ways to make income and since you are a Simmer, it makes sense that you would offer exclusive content as an incentive to gain members. What people don’t seem to understand, probably because they are not playing Tiny Town themselves, is the sheer size of this challenge and that naturally, a lot will need to be cut off to be able to progress and not drag one character for 2 weeks. Having completed all 7 sims myself and Tiny Town now, I can totally see why there are some gaps/jumps in what we see, Deli really has to pick and choose and this in itself is a huge task!!! I only recently became a member purely on the basis of how much I am enjoying this challenge and the huge effort is being put into it.

But then Beatrice is suddenly all into Ziggy and the budding romance between Azure and Beatrice seems to have been forgotten. Meanwhile Ziggy's still going around with his "single and loving it" lifestyle. Myb she tried to step aside and then decided not to anymore. Sims can be messy

I love the two little sheep!! I like the names Dill and Pickle. Also, tempura is a lighter batter as it is usually made with soda water so even though you're still deep frying or shallow frying in a wok, it has a lighter consistency than standard batter Deli ! Loving that two of the Tiny Townians have fallen in love and started a relationship!! Can't wait for more! xxx

I found a really cool mod on modthesims that allows you to turn a household member into an NPC without removing them from the household. It's absolutely perfect for this challenge. It allows you to keep your "roommates" without dealing with the weirdness of the normal roommate system.

Deli, when this series is over maybe you could do a season 2? You know new house styles and the other careers or something? I would LOVE that! I just dont want to see this series end!! I LOVE your builds and I miss your LPs!! Also, I STARTED with Ziggy so that made it so much harder because showers and toilets weren't on the lot yet neither did I have a selling table. It felt impossible not to mention paying rent for the entire lot. Once id make enough money by selling cross stitch and knitted items, the rent and bills needed paid. It was a STRUGGLE! But it was fun! In my fame frank stems almost dies. It took a long time go finish all his stuff so I had to age him down to Adult. Anyway, love you Deli! ❤ that was TOTALLY me who said that Beatrices house reminded me of the old lady who lived in a shoe!! 😂

I love this challenge so much that I have two save files with it to see how my gameplay changes depending on the order of characters I get. My community space is super different between the two files and the houses changed too, despite being the same styles and colors. I think Deli has created the new not so berry 🙂

I think the rainbow treat usually appears as a special item at the stalls during one of the Hanford competitions. If you go while a conception is on there are rarer items in the stalls so you will have a higher chance of getting it. You can click on an icon at the top of the shop menu that looks like a little sun to see the special offerings. I am not sure which event it is that has the treat as the special though.

@@deligracy Yeah there are so many different special eggs and treats that getting a particular one at a stall is probably of very little chance. 🤔 In my experience the least effort I've gotten lots of treats for is just befriending rabbits but then that takes some time too... 😅

for your custom floor you should try playing around with the brightness and contrast setting and make multiple copies of the textures and test in game until you find the right setting. Floors are notoriously hard because of the lighting values that differentiate between each world so you're never gonna get a perfect tone match you want. I'm so excited to see you delving into creating custom content though!

Sims sessions, you basically look it up in the gallery. Will have all the sims sessions items in a ‘room’ and then you just pull out what you want and delete the rest. Also for people on PC, since the code is in base game and not pack specific there are BG compatible CC selling tables as well.

I had to come back to say thank you for this tip. I downloaded one of the Sims Sessions gallery lots, and found that my very favorite food truck from Eco Lifestyle was redone with a different menu. I am over the moon! It serves a more normal menu now, and I shall be swapping it out for many of the other food stands in my game. It's the cute little trailer one, that actually looks portable. I love it so much, and use it more than any other, but the fact that it only serves coffee and crickets has been a bit of an issue for me. Thanks again! FYI, for others reading this, the Sims Sessions merch stands are also available, and you can still purchase the merchandise, like the t-shirts. I just tried it yesterday. Also, the bandstand has the "gather around the stage" action still attached to it. I don't know if it works, but it's still clickable.

I love this challenge so much. I am a challenge simmer so I have of course been doing it with your sims. I did a spin the wheel to choose who I would do each time and my wheel chose all the women first!! What is up with that wheel?? lol. I started with Annie Aperture, Cecilia asked to move in with her, they became platonic roommates but I had them have a science baby together as friends since Annie has the family aspiration! They had a daughter I named Helio, then got Beatrice, my sweet jam girl wanted to marry an evil Sim!! She had actual wants and whims for this. So I let her follow her hearts fire. lol. She had a baby girl with him, her name is Anisette (an italian dessert), then I got Azure, she married a son of the Watson family (I have aging on) and he already had two kids with two different women thanks to neighborhood stories, the one lived with him because the mom died and the other one lived with her Mom so I thought it made cool story for her to be a step Mom, they later had a baby girl together, named her Acrylic. Now I am on Opal which honestly is kind of tedious. lol. She is engaged to a random alien in disguise! lol. I'm not sure why but I feel like marrying an alien fits her vibe. XD I am having a blast.

The bird sculpture is of the Spotted Sixam (Maxis spelled backwards.) It's a bird you can catch and have as a pet in Sims 3. I'm doing your challenge, but I adapted it for Sims 3. Since Sims 3 doesn't have knitting or cross stitch, I made Ziggy a fisherman. So far I've got houses for Beatrice and Annie, and will be working on Cyprus' house.

I really enjoy this series! ❤ I've played for years and I've never been abled to keep a challenge in the Sims! I couldn't even keep the same family for more than a generation 😅 but seeing you play and having organized the whole thing I just had to try and I love it. So far played Frank and Opal.. I replaced the rec center in San Sequoia with this lot for my play through of the challenge. I have a lot more interactions with off-lot neighbors, and swimming across the street fills a lot of needs when people first move in. I’ve been able to be successful with the for rent pack after a tiny bit of trial and error (I’ve played through Cypress, Beatrice, and Frank so far). For rent works so much better than the roommate system if you can get it to work. Thank you for such a great challenge!

Tenpura is just fried food, but it’s usually shrimp or veggies fried in panko bread crumb batter vs. other styles of batter, for example Southern US style fried chicken’s batter.

A different way to get the random treat could've been that sometimes people will upload rooms of items in the gallery, garlic, death flowers, angel fish, stuff like that. You could see if there's rainbow treats and if there is you could see how much it would cost, earn that amount of money and then put it on your lot to collect the treats and delete the funds from your money so it's like you 'bought' it. It's a bit better than cheating because you actually worked for the money.

Apparently you can get the Rainbow Treat at the Garden Stall during the Finchwick Fair and by befriending birds and rabbits. But I do think it is all random luck. talk about luck, I had Annie Aperture buy a lotto ticket and she won! Put all the funds in the community vault. lol Sheep name for knitting "Pearl" (knit or pearl - knitting term) If two, name them Lilo and Stitch after the Disney characters. But I like your choices. The house is coming along nicely. :)

I am loving this series, and I think I know why everyone thinks you stink…well should I say your environment. I tried to read through the comments to make sure I wasn’t saying something that was already said,so I apologize if I missed it. But with MOO cheat enabled sims foods can get stuck under counters, sales tables, ect. I do it all the time when I’m trying to move things around in live mode. Most likely if you move that stuff where everyone is smelling it, you will find rotten food needing cleaned up. I’ve found it under stoves, counters,floating behind decor…anywho yes, hope it helps and thank you 💜

According to google: Pumpkin Treat (Any pumpkin + sugar): Cows produce pumpkin spice milk, hens lay orange eggs, llamas produce orange wool. Rainbow Treat (Blue egg + green egg + orange egg): Cows become rainbow cows, produce rainbow milk, hens lay rainbow eggs, llamas produce rainbow wool. You unlock recipes by feeding the treats to an animal or by befriending birds who bring you treats.

The birds with the tree from cottage living will gift you rainbow wool sometimes. Worth befriending them. The rainbow wool sometimes appears on the fair days (Saturdays). Or a rainbow treat. Which then unlocks the recipe.

The amount of color is just fine for my eyes like if it was tooo much yellow it would def be overwhelming for the eyes 😭 so i enjoy your builds
