We did a first look plus private vows before the ceremony and it was one of our best decisions. One thing we did that I would recommend is that we got these nice vow books from etsy (I can send you the link if you want) that we wrote our vows in. Since then, we have used those same books to write letters to each other on important days like birthdays, anniversary, etc. That way, we can go back and look at all of the letters we've written to each other over the years. We made the same decision, where we have our vows recorded and I made a separate video just for Nicole that has our full vows. The video on our channel is the one the videographer (THEY'RE SO EXPENSIVE!!) made. It only has excerpts from our vows, and I kind of wish they didn't even do that.

I won’t lie, I’ve gone back and rewatched your wedding video a few more times for inspo ☺️ Yes please send the link to the books! I was just starting to think about what we were going to do for that Definitely a must to record the vows! But we’ll see about the sharing part. Maybe we’ll share but I can’t handle saying all that in front of everyone. Too many emotions!! Videographers are actually insanely pricey. We could barely find a photographer we could afford!! So we’re going to film it ourselves as we normally film videos haha -K

I've been thinking about walk down the aisle songs that would sound good on guitar and here's what I came up with so far: -All Of Me by John Legend -Marry Me by Train -Rewrite the Stars from The Greatest Showman -I Choose You by Ryann Darling -Longer by Dan Fogelberg -There are a few songs by The Beatles, but because of how well known they are, I feel like they only really works if you like The Beatles to begin with

Valerie! 🥹 We’ve wanted to post consistently soooo badly, life’s been wonderful but just too busy. But don’t worry, we’ve been filming all along 😉 the plan is to work hard this summer to get a bunch of videos edited up. Ideally, we’ll be back to a regular posting schedule in the fall. Wedding planning is a whole range of emotions to say the least! Congratulations again to you both!! Your day sounds like its going to be absolutely beautiful! My sister rented silk flower bouquets when she got married, and it was 100% the way to go! You couldn't tell they weren't real - they were super beautiful and were *much* cheaper. No dead, crispy flowers after 😂

I know for sure from pictures the silk ones look great but haven’t actually seen any high quality ones in real life so that’s very reassuring to hear! Exactly right 😅 We’ve been suuuper busy, plus Jay’s been really trying to grow his channel. But we’ve been filming the whole time so the stockpile has grown MUCH larger haha 😆 Jay actually just started editing one this week and we’re hoping to be posting consistently again in Feb/March 😊 We definitely want to post all our fun adventures so when we’re old we can look back at them and show our kids. If I can learn how to edit that will help a lot too! Thanks for caring 💕 Hope to be sharing again soon -Katie
