Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.

Fantastic video once again! I bet the hail storm flattened the hay field in a matter of minutes? The hay was so thick glad mower picked it up to cut! That was funny tumbling rolling hay bale😅 Take Care

@@farmerspov4709 wow sorry had to laugh about it almost had it but didn’t stick. Your lucky Jasper didn’t have a creek down in their . We lost one off the wagon rolling down the road back to field over the embankment into creek. We had to wrap a net around the bale to get it out.

We sold about half of our grass straight from the field and yesterday I cut most of the rest for hay. The sold grass had poor yield, but the hay looks ok. Hopefully we'll get rain at the end of next week. It's quite dry.

Hi i was wondering why do you stack bales in the field why not bring them to the farm yard for feeding in winter?

So they don't get in the way around the yard. We bring them in when we need them and usually one lasts for three days or so 😉
