You teach children to read and write because they learn faster at that age. Teaching an adult literacy is way harder.

Oh my. They just set that kid up for a lifetime of problems. He's not going to know how to behave appropriately in society. He does what he feels. Then starts busting someone in the head with a rock because he's allowed to do whatever her wants. Children in those wierd cults grow up with nothing but issues. This is no different

In the UK there are many types of 'schooling', the most popular are private/public schools (that's where I go), academies (I had family who went to one) and lastly state (or comprehensive) schools; another type is democratic schooling (I think) I remember watching a documentary on it in Sociology but in short the students are on a first name basis with their teachers and if they want to study they do if they don't and just want to play they do that. The rate democratic school students passing their GCSES are low and the gunnies thing is they pay for this school (my teacher was saying one school charges mor than £20,000. So yeah it's actually quite interesting, this clip reminds me of that school.

What a sorry excuse for parents. Children need boundaries, and to know right from wrong. They need to learn to read, right, learn math, history, science and English. You are setting your kid up for failure. Fast forward about ten years, and we'll be seeing kids like this committing crimes. And, what will the parents be saying? "But, my kid was a good kid . . . I can't figure out what happened!:

The world is not according to a five-year-old. This child doesn't know the skills he needs to learn at this age so he can learn the skills required for the next age and the next stage and the next stage so essentially he will be a five-year-old forever. Good luck. You are only as much as what you take in and retain. So this kid is going to be a kazoo and a chair pushing specialist.

way to go people. When the state catches up with the fact that he's not being schooled, his first grade teacher will have all kinds of problems with him. His grades will suffer and so will the grades of everyone around him. The teacher will be bald from pulling out their hair over all of his distractions. And what if he gets a Woke teacher who tries to turn him into a girl. Have fun with that.

This is truly sad! Children need boundaries and thrive when they have them. This child may not make it into adulthood. If he does, how will he be able to have a successful career if he decides that he never wants to read and write. He will not be able to balance a checkbook, work a structured job, nor function in any environment that requires following rules. I saw him brushing his teeth and wondered how he decided that brushing his teeth was the choice he wanted to make. If he decides he no longer wants to brush his teeth and his teeth all fall out, what a nightmare.

I'm a teacher. This behavior is genuinely going to cripple their son. You need to teach kids language, and how to read and write, before a certain age or they will consistently struggle. That's not even considering developmental issues or behavioral problems, educationally they're screwing him up. "It's not important for him to learn to read or write right now." Ma'am, you aren't raising a child, you are raising a future adult. And adults need to know how to read and write. Adults also need to know how to accept rejection, or how to behave in public.

Not preparing him for the rest of the world and not learning him to read and write is making it difficult for him when he wants to socialize with other people. Its a good chance that people want like his behavior and distance themselfes from him. But it can be the other way around too. Children are looking for rules and dont like to do what ever they want and feel like no one care for them. So they will get attention from people from doing bad things, any attention is better than no attention at all. ( its also a chance that this isnt true)

I want to see the progression of this child each year until he is 18 then every 3 years until he is 30. Someone needs to study this. Hell, maybe they are right? The school system we have isn’t really working. Kids graduate high school and don’t know how to figure the sq feet in a room, can’t call someone on the phone but will reluctantly text them if you force them to. I’ll anxiously await the results of this style of “parenting”.
