That story Grubby starts telling around the 13 minute mark is insane. It looks like the court case over it was dismissed (CIVIL ACTION NO. 16-156 08-12-2016 DAVID SMITH, et al. Plaintiffs v. AMERICAN AIRLINES, INC., et al. Defendants) but not because of lack of evidence, but rather the people who brought the lawsuit had to go through worker's compensation. It also looks like they were not intentionally poisoning people but being sloppy and lazy to save money.

@MegaAnno2 they filled water jugs with the blue juice to more easily do something on the airplanes, and then they washed them out. That was according to the complaint. However, they said when they washed them out, they couldn't get them completely clean again and were again used for water machines.

Now that was a real Dungeon. Waaaay back when Blizz still had the balls to trully push the envelope. Actually the whole of Blackrock Mountain was what we had and will never get again. Now everything has to be crowd/noob pleaser// e-sport material simultaneously and despite the truly great environments and mechanics the utilitarian design cannot be missed. Saying this having loved the Mythic Dungeons of BoF right before i closed the door on WoW with all it's tedious dailies grind.

"Scarlet monastery and it's consequences have been a disaster for Azeroth." during development of wow, there was a lot of unknowns about everything, so part of the design process was to learn as much as possible about what players liked about dungeons. The most beloved and most run dungeons ended up being the shorter ones like SFK, SM, and ZF, while long and/or mazelike dungeons, and especially those with large level gaps, like sunken temple, WC, and Uldaman (and eventually maraudon) ended up less popular. After this, you see Dire Maul and all the TBC dungeons adopting the SM structure, with wings with narrow level bands, relatively short with usually no more than 4 bosses, maybe 5, and no maze-like elements. I think Dire Maul balances out the roster of classic dungeons nicely, but when every hub in TBC is that way, it is just homogenous and boring. I think TBC dungeons in isolation are pretty good, and the first weeks of running heroics is the best TBC gets, but when you look at them in their entirety, there's little in terms of standouts. Every hub feels so similar, with 1-2 leveling dungeons that are short-ish, and straightforward, and one endgame dungeon that is medium length, but still straightforward. I can't help but feel that the wrong lesson was learned from vanilla dungeons. Instead of "people really like ScaletMonastery-style dungeon hubs", i think they should have learned that "a good variety of dungeon types leads to stronger identies for each one, and accounts for the playerbase's differing tastes". I'm on the BRD love-train, am an uldaman defender (the bosses are actually really good, and carry the dungeon), and love maraudon and WC. Of course, Cathedral is probably 2nd place for the best dungeon in classic (probably the best trash in any dungeon, one great boss encounter, great visuals, great pacing, great story, serviceable player expression) , but the experience of it is probably a bit soured after running 2-boss SM dungeons for most of your 30's, so it feels a bit samey.

@@haldir108 agreed. that has been my beef with Blizzard even since Diablo 2. There always have been the potential for greatness in their concepts and artist work but they always opted for the safe/middle of the road/popular options they had. It has worked great for them no doubt, but the end state of this approach is what they are spewing out now. It's all socioeconomics if you ask me. At least back then there were spaces for some truly unique experiences to slip through the cracks, the Mountain being the prime example of that, i still can't find my way in and out of LBRS and had to solo farm BRD to get a solid hold of the layout. Not particularly fond of SM, though i had run the Cathedral a million times, too Central Europe high middle ages for my taste, and it always bothered me because i "grew up" in Tirisfall Glades and it stood like a sore thumb, can't we just group up and get rid of those motherF#$%s once and for all?

Not sure what his talents are like now, but he used to not really improve frost bolt that much, only stuff he needed for AOE farming, meaning frostbolt wasn't much better than fireball.

I miss the times before the internet existed where Each town has their own slang and lingo. You would go to basketball games and football games to the town 10 miles away from yours and it was like they were speaking a different language. Now, all the lingo is the same. We got brain dead robots who are more worried about using the correct slang than being original and themselves. The market is flooded by a bunch of posers trying to act in a way they think others perceive as cool, instead of being themselves. God damn
