Imagine being lost in the woods at night and finding three strange guys blasting techno music, mincing meat and running a bunch of table saws in absolute darkness. It's the stuff of ghost stories and creepy-pastas.
@apennington81652 жыл бұрын
I'd assume it was either meth heads trying to make money for drugs in a weird way, or alien college students doing their thesis study on primitive earth resource harvesting technologies. Either way, I'm not stopping to ask them for directions no matter how lost in the woods I am.

As a detectorist who lives in the middle of nowhere, I would kill to watch you guys do it. My finds are boring here but it's always interesting thinking that a 50-year-old cup was lying just a few inches under everyone's feet. or wondering what kid launched this throwing knife out into the bush.

I would love to have a metal detector and just walk around my yard, but in Sweden you need a permit and have to pay a fee (almost $84/£69/€79) for them to process the application, regardless if the permit is granted or not. It has to be in a specified area (the map has to fit a sheet of A4 paper with the scale 1:20 000). You can't just roam around with it. I just want to see of the previous owners threw something cool out :(

I hate those types of shows. For years now my dad has watched a similar show called the Curse of Oak Island. I always give him a hard time about it, asking him if they've found the treasure yet and the answer is always a resounding no. And then when they do find something they do a dramatic cut to commercial just so you can come back and find out it was just a rusty nail. One time they did that just to reveal that they found some old planks of wood. And somehow the show is already 9 seasons long and I think it's still going
