Thai people believe in wearing large, beautiful, cute brooches. It is placed around the mother's stomach because it is believed to protect the mother and child and is a symbol and way of showing others that you are pregnant. Thai people will value you and provide you with great safety. If there is any problem, you will be the first person to receive help because you have 1 person, 2 lives without having to inform. This could also be the content of your next clip, where you have your wife wear a brooch and then try asking random Thai people to see if they know what's wrong with her.

Parenting is quite difficult. Stability is needed. So is at least $200.000 in disposable income, a ton of time, a ton of patience and knowledge of how to deal with a handicapped child, and whatever other problems and illnesses that will inevitably arise, usually when you least expect it, in the middle of the night when one has to go to the casualty ward (ER in America). Being a parent is a bloody difficult job rife with all manner of unforeseen hurdles. One could never have paid me enough to have taken it all on.

As a father of a daughter and a son and a grandfather of a grandson and a granddaughter I can truly say that parenthood is the most rewarding experience of my life. It can sometime be challenging but it is so worth it. - especially when you get older and you are grandparents. My wife and I call our grandson and granddaughter the "wrecking crew" but we enjoying see them several times a week. I have been watching your channel for a few years and you have provided me with very informative and entertaining content. Your content on Thailand along with Chris Parker's content on Thailand inspired my wife and I to spend the last two Canadian winters in Thailand. We are coming to Thailand again this winter. Last trip to Thailand I visited the Bangkok hospital in Pattaya for a foot infection and I was impress with the modern facilities, cleanliness, professional support staff, specialty doctors and the cost. For three visits to specialists and a shopping bag full of medication it cost only $300 CAD. I can certainly agree with your choice to have your baby in Thailand bases upon my medical experience but I am wondering how citizenship would work if your baby is born in Thailand? Certainly your baby would have Thai birthright citizenship but what about Canadian and Australian citizenship? I have always valued my Canadian citizenship because I am proud to be Canadian, it has given me many options, It has allowed me to work in and visit many different countries in the world and I have always been welcome because I am a Canadian. Australian citizenship has all of the same benefits. Can you apply for Canadian and Australian citizenship for you baby? If so can your child hold more than one citizenship while living in Thailand? Pregnancy sickness. Ugh. It’s exhausting trying not to let any nausea get overwhelming. That was me. I remember having a toaster by the bed and the nausea would wake me up in the middle of the night, so I’d lean over and pop some toast down, which I then couldn’t face eating. I lost so much weight. The smell of onions was a kind of hell. The smell of practically anything was hell! I’m still vaguely traumatised by the memories of it and he’s nearly 21 now. Sort of came right at 20 weeks. I kept thinking…how have women tolerated this through the centuries?? I was 42 and I’m not a ‘sickie’ person and have a cast iron gut. Poor Mandy. But hey! even BETTER than a puppy. Trust me. Xx

You could not have paid me enough to have had a kid. So many unforeseen hurdles, doctor visits, hospital visits especially if the kid is born handicapped or develops handicaps later on. And there is no guarantee that one's child will be born on time and perfect!
