I've been receiving a few interview offers and I always prepare ahead but for some reason I struggle when it comes to the speaking part, and I tend to get tongue tied and way too nervous. I feel like if I got better at expressing myself throughout the phone and video interviews, then I'd be able to get an offer. I've been trying to become a flight attendant for the past 2 years. I love your content, thanks for all you do!

Hi Nina! Happy New Year. I'm in training right now and the bases offered were BOS, CLT, DCA,DFW, LGA,ORD and PHL. MIA was only offered to Hebrew speakers. Hindi speakers are sent to JFK.

It would make no sense to leave either once you build seniority. Pay is roughly the same between the two and you'd just lose seniority.

@@samanthayates8812 No it really does not unless you're very junior that your seniority doesn't matter. You start at the bottom again in pay, schedule etc. If you're a year in may make sense. 5 years in not really. FA's ( or pilots), all have the same gripes at all the carriers so culture isn't a big factor for most switching and going to another large carrier. Where is does make sense if your trying to get out of regional or from Spirit or Frontier with awful pay.

@@johniii8147 it really does make sense. I have worked for 3 carriers and LIKE I SAID culture does matter. I've seen plenty of people from Delta and United come to American. I knew people at Alaska that came from American. Everyone has their own reasons. You sound narrow minded

look at it as a blessing. American is in horrible financial shape out of all the airlines. plus they are offering service similar to an ULCC at this point.

I sent in my application but for some reason after sending in my application I never got an email that it went even though the website said it did. But under my profile portal it says not selected after just applying does that mean it is just pending or something. I have qualifications to qualify for the job. Can you explain this? I sent the application in right when it opened this morning. It didn’t feel like real application it looked like my profile portal. It won’t let me redo it.

Do you have a passport? Did you state that you are willing to relocate? If not sometimes this might be an automatic rejection but I’m not entirely sure for your situation

@@ninavida4381 yes I told them I am willing to relocate and I have a passport that I just renewed in 2020 because I was going to go Italy for a study abroad class till they canceled the trip. But it never sent me an email or the assessment.
