Absolutely! That's how I feel after getting on my new medicines!being capable of doing a little more than before! And how I feel after losing my KZbin a year and a half ago and just getting it back! Sometimes we take things for granted without realizing it. And when it changes in a positive way we're in such a shock but so grateful because we never expected something could be better. It's real. I hadn't watched your videos since right after you moved and seeing Mary walking up the stairs without having to stop or cough. It's a night and day difference. I did come across a KZbin video of someone with end stage cf and this medication is his last chance. He said it hasn't helped very much so far. Is there a point of no return where the medication can't help?

Just watched the first few minutes - I always look for Ollie in your videos. My fence gate was left open by mistake and my dog escaped and joined the Jehovah's Witnesses. She canvassed the neighborhood with them for almost an hour, went onto the peoples' porches, sat and listened quietly while they talked with the people. Her collar was off, so she had no ID. I was so grateful and she was so busted when they got to my house! Best wishes to all 3 of you.

I remember you talking about the possibility of starting "this new drug" especially during the week you were at Duke for all the transplant appointments. You kept saying "and we don't know..." and you didn't know. And sometimes things don't work out so well, but boy does it make us relish things when they DO work out - SO well. It's a joy to see Mary going up the stairs, vlogging, talking... not coughing. And an important reminder of how things can turn around entirely - so quickly. It gives me hope about a lot of things that I don't know how they're going to turn out... :-)

I think with chronic illness there is always that feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop, e.g. not expecting any good time to last particularly long because experience has taught that it usually doesn't. It is an adjustment, but yet a trepidatious one.

I’m amazed that you have made friends already! I am very happy for you that you are feeling well enough to get out and spend time with friends❤️, You more than deserve it. I am a senior that lived in this neighborhood for 18 years and not made one friend. We weren’t seniors when we moved here. I retired from this area and never was able to make friends with coworkers. I am blessed to be able to do so much with my husband and that we do enjoy our time at home also.

I haven’t been a member of the Frey Life fam for very long, but even I’ve seen the change Trikafta has made in Mary’s life-Mary, you just seem so much more energetic and full of life and joyful now that your health has improved and somewhat stabilized (at least in the sense that you can predict what each day will look like). It really goes so show just how much chronic illness plays a role people’s lives and it’s such a blessing watching you both live out the gospel despite any setbacks ❤️

We all have trigger items ,,took me forever to hear the song ,O HOLY NIGHT at Christmas after my husband died ,he sang that for Christmas only 3 months before and I worked really hard with him on that ,but since time has passed now I can enjoy it :) You will also Mary :) ..Ollie boy is sooo adorable ,like a little kid looking into the box seeing what is there :) .

When I have a bad day, mental health wise or physically... you make me remember to "Do what ya think you can't do".... and to laugh. Thanks for that! Dealing with Hydrocephalus, Chiari Malformation and the chronic pain wears on my mental health.... I'm so thankful for you guys, and thankful for Trikafta for everyone it affects! On another note, thank you Mary for sharing that little bit about the scarred memory with the cd. I had some concussions that really messed with my head last year, and I had to have really painful physical therapy to get through it. Earlier this year, I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle, and had to do isometric exercises in a similar position/situation to when I had therapy for the head issues. It was just like you described -- I felt like I was back in the mindset of being where I was a year ago. I guess it just made me feel like I'm not alone in the "I don't have PTSD but I also am not totally okay with this" boat. I love you guys! You make my days and evenings so much brighter, just by existing in them through your vlogs. And, to whomever reading this... YOU ARE AWESOME! I LOVE YOU!

Oh my gosh Mary I. Just thought of this. You may not want to but each of the panels in your fence are lit up, paint murals on each panel. Or put your patrean names and donations for each panel with wood burning tool. I saw someone do that to finance their fence. But I think murals would be pretty and since your such a good painter

I think your voice sounds a little different (in a good way}. .. I know what a declining health can do to us people and now to see you so much better... It's a blessing. Really. You looked so proud when you went the stairs without coughing... That was gorgeous!!! 🍀 Most people don't know how good they are doing and chanels like this one, gives hope to the sick and open eyes by the healthy ones (don't know how to describe it otherwise).... I didn't realize how precious it is to be able to move, talk, going to the bathroom... I took it as a normal thing, nothing to be thankful about. Now that I am sick, I see that nothing is for granted... Enjoy the little things 😊👌that is now a big gift that I got.... Much love from Germany

My brain does the same thing as yours with that CD. I cannot watch the original A Christmas Carol or the "I'm just a bill" cartoon anymore because I watched them very I had a bad flu as a kid. I immediately feel upset and nauseous.

I totally get what you're saying about the music. In 2012 I had a 48 day long hospital Stay. And the songs I listened to repeatedly in the hospital I can't listen to now. They make me cringe. Like you said you're mind goes back to that place. When you said that I was amazed because I can relate.
