I wish that it was warm in my area like it is in Malaysia where you are & Indonesia because we're having 4°C nights at my location near Newcastle in NSW at the moment, well, it gets down to 4°C in the early hours of the morning anyway. It's a pity that you can't take those Cempedak seeds home to Australia with you without getting fined by the customs officials back here. My Cempedak plant is actually putting on new growth in the middle of winter in my greenhouse,I have it growing in there to give it a fighting chance,I bought it from an eBay seller whose located at Currumbin waters in Queensland. Next year it's going into the ground & I want to buy a Marang seedling plant as well, with the Durians I don't know, at least keep it potted & bring it indoors during winter time & leave it outdoors during the warmer months & keep it bonsaied !

Dorian or mangoes very cheaper in Indonesia, Thailand or in Malaysia and Vietnam compared to Singapore which much more expensive because all of them imported from there.Singapore not have enough agricultural land to cultivate this tropical fruits.

We are in staying in the hood part of Singapore, called Geylang, where everything we need is 10 minutes walk away. Saving hundreds by taking the $2 bus into the city where hotels are over $200/night!!

@@reallifefuntopia8273 Yeah we're going to Singapore for a stopover end of yr and may have to opt for that part of Singapore too. $200 doesn't get you anything flash either.
