We boondocked at the very same spot back in April. It was the only place in ALL of Van Horn we could find, but its going to be our stop off from now on!

Welcome to TEXAS!! If you venture off of I10, got to check out Lake Amistad - in Del Rio on Hwy 90. Here is a copy of what the National Park Service says. "15 sites suitable for tents or RVs less than 28 feet. No hookups. Governors Landing is the only campground in the park with potable water available. Camp hosts may be on-site during winter months. Each site costs $8/night." and there are a few other sites without water. If your retired Military, they have a nice campground w/ full hookups overlooking the lake. If you make it this way, let me know and We can take you guts out for dinner. Save Travels!!

Love it, but have questions if you are experiencing the same certain issues. Oh, BTW.....we are still in Page Az and may be here for a while if we take jobs on the lake following interviews Tuesday.
