I don't know where you live (nor do I want to judge your personal financial circumstances) but if you're any close to Germany I highly recommend you to try it out at a workshop weekend. Check out: Nürnberger Borduntage. Michalina already honored us with a workshop there :-) We always organise leasing instruments for our beginners classes and if then you decide you wanna keep on playing the hurdy gurdy we try to give advice on how to purchase an instrument that suits both you and your wallet. :-)

@@laurenweser1090 thanks! Im in the US unfortunately. Im not even sure if they would be able to ship it here. However, this year has been particularly difficult for me. Ill be fine next year, just a lot of unforseen expenses this year. Just bad timing.

Meh, if you don't like your job anymore, you quit. Touring musician job is really tough both physically and mentally and not for everyone. If not torturing yourself with something you don't feel good in anymore is selfish, then should you stay and suffer? I also wish Michalina didn't quit but she felt that was the best for her. I admire her for launching this new project and wish her the best on her new journey.

Sorry, I have changed my mind. Don't go back to Eluveitie. They have Annie Hurdy Gurdy now, so once again (just as in the case of the Anna Murphy-Fabienne Erni exchange) they benefited from a member leaving them and evolved to a new level. Wishing all the best with your private project, though!
