We’re excited to be getting back on the road again - hope you enjoy the journey with us!

Fully understand that ‘itch’ to be back on the road and travelling. We are kiwis who are four weeks into our two-three year lap of Australia. We met you outside the BCF at Waurn Ponds. In 2023 we traveled NZ for the year and then spent 2024 at home with me working and my husband organising our caravan and car for Australia. Like you I missed the freedom of being able to move on - different sights and experiences. The hum drum of everyday living. Give me life on the road anyway. Safe travels.😁🌺

Oh yes - Daz was looking for his keys and it was scorching hot!!! Glad that you and your fur baby are out there exploring this amazing country. Hope we can catch up for a proper meet and greet somewhere along the road! Safe travels. 🐾😀

Great video, you have a similar story to us, we had car troubles the month before we set off on full time travel, we set off last November, we have 3 grandchildren which is the hardest part of travel for me but like you this is our time to live our best life. We look forward to following you on your adventures, you never know, we might catch up on the road, we are currently south WA and slowly moving up the west coast. Safe travels guys. 😊

Yes it’s the biggest challenge I think leaving those bubbas behind! We’ll be in WA from Feb and making our way up the coast so I’m sure we’ll meet somewhere!

Thanks Jenny! Where did you evacuate to? That’s scary! I’m dreading a cyclone or bushfire situation. Safe travels and keep letting us know what you like or don’t like!

Lads! I done the nullaboor in1976, no air no power steering, and the roads were really bad.

Well done! We did it in our kombi 13 years ago - no air, no power steering and it was 48 degrees as we came into South Australia - definitely not ideal in an air cooled kombi!!!! But we loved it! It’s such a great experience isn’t it?

Yes that’s such a beautiful part of WA and in fact we think one of the best parts of Australia- we cannot wait to get back up there.

I wish I could be like you but I struggle to leave my 8 year old granddaughter, therefore we aren’t living our retirement as hoped but hey they are only young and want to be with their grandies for such a short time so we feel we have to embrace that while we can.
@Oursaltylife14 күн бұрын
Yes that is our biggest challenge. But they have a busy life and are happy and healthy so now is the time while we are too!

I think home does get monotonous and that's okay. It's also okay to not travel. But when you have itchy feet and long for the open road, well, if you're in the position to do so, off you go! Hope to see you on the road. I know Dad would have loved to do it, so you have to think yolo, right?

That boat looks so fun, I’ll have to find you at some point for a spin in it. You may no longer have a swag on board but I reckon I could sleep in that boat ;)
