The cool thing about the plot twist is that you can see the twist of Vecna being 001, but no one expects that Henry Creel is ALSO Vecna/001. I still remember when my found found out, she was shook 😂

Of all the twists in the series, that was the most obvious Edit: Not the Henry Creel part obviously no one saw that coming and if they say they did they're lying Victor literally said the son died in his story.

Souch a great actor he nailed it Perfectly, that interpretation at the beginning,of a character who was sweet, kind and was willing to help El,Escape the lab But at the same time he maintains a feeling of darkness and mystery With a touch of sweetness and sneaky vibe that would later be revealed...Who would have thought that he was vecna, Henry or number one? At the same time That's what I call a perfect acting And not only Jaime, but also Millie, Sadie, everyone literally shined in their characters this season. the duffers literally went all in this this episode lol.

I like the parallels between 002 and Angela. Both bullying scenes were shot very similarly, with El being surrounded and pushed around. Both ringleaders gave themselves away, so the authority figures easily saw through them, but blamed El for "snitching" even though she didn't.

Freddy really only in aesthetics and powers but I don’t really see his personality in Freddy because his narcissism manifests in a totally different way. He’s not a dominator that wants people underneath him. I don’t see him as feeding off fear and needing that validation, he’s more a consumer in the pure sense. So I see his ultimate goal not as wanting to stand on top of all other life, but to exist totally alone. Itll be interesting if they explore his character further in the final season but we may never get any insight beyond his monologue comparing himself to spiders

You misunderstood something that was actually already clarified in season 2 and comes back here now. Eleven finds her strongest power not by getting angry, but by love. That's their superpower. Even her sister in season 2 told her to get angry with bad memories. It worked, but she defeated all enemies by thinking of beautiful things. Just like here. One told her to get angry and she thought of her mother being abducted by the staff. But she defeated One at the moment when her mother said to her: "I love you".

It's funny to see your perspective about people who were around before the Internet. Some of us were around before computers. I'm the same age as these kids in the show. Born in the early 70s, teenager in the Midwest in the 80s and did all the things these kids did. Played D&D, rode my bike everywhere, went to the mall. I don't remember fighting inter-dimensional monsters, but other than that my life and these kid's life was the same. Indeed! I love the way that it ties back to the very first lines in the season, with El talking about how sometimes the passage of time seems fast, and at other times it seems slow. The twenty years between 1959 and 1979 *feels* like more than twenty years to most viewers, because of the dramatic changes in technology, clothing, mores and manners that the cultural revolutions of the 1960s ushered in in the United States. The scenes shot in 1959 look as if they might as well be the 1940s, while the scenes shot in 1979 look very similar to the show's "current day" of the '80s. It tricks the viewer into forgetting that there are only twenty years between them, which in turn helps to obscure the Henry Creel twist. Playing with time indeed!

I'm really wondering now though. I'm watching somebody else that's reacting and they just finished S1. That ending scene with the boys being so happy that Will is ok, and him suddenly turning so serious and saying the demagorgan got him. It's the same way he said it in the first ep, as he was leaving Mike's house right before the demagorgan got him. Makes me wonder if we ever really got Will back. I suppose that could've been the setup for him to be the 'spy' in S2, but it's not 100% clear. Side note, I'm writing a series of books and 100% taking a page from the Duffer Bros and writing the whole story as I go instead of one book at a time. 😂

@@vn5774 you just called me blind and have no taste with one of the worst opinions without proving anything but that doesn't change the fact that what I said is a FACT. Walter makes a lazer gun in a serie set in reality and around 2008-13 when it was airing that automatically targets his enemies by the click of a button on his remote. The amount of meat riding you breaking bad fanballs give that show is pathetic. After season 1&2, which were okay, the show turns so cartoony and unrealistic. And yes, breaking bad is extremely overrated. It does not stand out from other series like Stranger Things, Dark, Attack on Titan. On Imbd this show has a 9.5 and you expect it to be better than game of thrones but it's not even close. The first season was great and not slow paced but the second and third just gets too slow and boring, focusing on Walter's family misunderstanding than drug dealing. The 4th improved but I've seen better than that before. The first half of season 5 was also extremely boring. I found the first half ridiculous and the second half is the only great thing about the show man. The show also has so many issues . 2face gus was ridiculous. Bombing a nursing home and getting away like nothing was ridiculous. The Mexican twins who don't talk or act like real humans whos entire characters are just walking around "menacingly" ,is so stupid Idk how people take it serously. Tuco was a cartoon character, not a meth kingpin. And walt just blows up an entire commercial building with an ice cube and walks away like nothing happened? The city isnt gonna look into that? Using a giant magnet on the side of a police evidence room was literal ACME cartoon level antics. The way Jesse and his druggy friends talk is like writing you'd expect from your goofy aunt who's never been around drug dealers/drug users and think they talk in Snoop dog's "fashizzle language". The finale just further certified the absurdity.. Walt, the chemistry whiz, creates a functioning unfolding and fully automated gattling gun that pops out of his trunk and accurately wipes out an entire biker gang? Really?

She has even said that living a life like her mother would be her biggest nightmare. She doesn't want children. If she compromised this for Steve she would eventually resent him and any kids they had. Steve would be unhappy too. They would destroy one another. Better for them to be friends and let their high school relationship remain a thing of the past. They both deserve better. Steve deserves a woman who wants to have his babies and travel in the RV. Nancy deserves the job where she can run off at the drop of a hat to follow the news story.

El might have killed Two, Three, Four, and Five in self-defense if they’d tried to follow through on their death threat, but she would never have hurt the younger kids. The closest we’ve ever seen her come to hurting someone without provocation was when she shoved Lucas at the junkyard, and that was because he had just tackled Mike. That wasn’t a reasoned, proportional response like her encounters with Troy, but a reflexive reaction to a perceived threat to her first and best friend, and afterward she was so upset and ashamed of what she’d done that she fled into the woods. She killed the agents at the middle school in season one because they were pointing guns at her and her friends. She’d already seen that one of them, Connie Frazier, was a cold-blooded killer who would murder an innocent man at the drop of a hat simply for knowing of El’s existence. El had to assume that she was at least likely to do the same to the boys, and if she was going to take down Connie, she had to take down all of them, because the others would start shooting as soon as they saw Connie go down. Just pushing them away wouldn’t have gotten the job done, even if she could have pushed all of them at once; as far as we know, her telekinesis can’t block bullets, and even if it could, she probably wouldn’t know it either, never having tried to block something moving that fast. (For that matter, she might have been hazy on exactly how guns work, as it’s not something Brenner would likely have wanted to include in what little education she was allowed to receive at the lab.)

Same here. I like your avatar. I had to stop smoking weed because I started having panic attacks associated with it. Took the joy out of it for me, but I had ten or so years of enjoying it first. I miss that. All pre-internet.

Ohhh man they still have the entire Vol. 2 left, there's still so much to happen. I wonder when they're gonna pick up on Will and his feelings for Mike, I'm surprised you STILL haven't noticed already. Not to worry tho, episode eight makes sure you see what's going on with these two 😂

I’m glad y’all LOVE the show, if you’re interested more like this, please watch Fear Streets 🙏 directed by Leigh Janiak. It contains your favorite actors from Stranger things and is just crazy and will blow your mind. From part 1, 1994 to part 3, 1666. It is an amazing movie series and will fit right in your liking. I hope to see you react to it soon! ❤🎉
