Max escaping from Vecna is definitely the best scene of Stranger Things , everything about that scene is a mastepiece , and Sadie Sink’s acting is amazing. Vecna is basically one of those villain’s that represent depression , so that scene is a symbolisim to depression trying convinc Max to give up her life , but then she remembers that even though she doesnt have Billy anymore , she still has Eleven , Lucas and the other’s who are alway’s going to be by her side and help her through rough time’s , and that make’s her realize that she want’s to keep living.

@@justlive2809yeah ok lol. The acting was great! Maybe you don’t understand that scene of Max running the metaphor behind it is truly beautiful. Her running from Vecna to make it back to her friends is a metaphor for depression she is running from it even with every obstacle falling in front of her trying to stop her from making it she still runs and she doesn’t give up living and battling the horrible thing depression is. Depression is a battle it consumes you and tries drops so many things on you at once to break you and Max did not want that anymore she wanted to fight back and she did she fought back her depression and suicidal thoughts.

That's why the song "Running up that hill" hits so hard imo. It's a constant battle and for Max, she still wanted to live so she ran ❤ Max saying "I'm still here" at the very end as the others hugged her was also so emotional for me, because yes girl you are still here!

FYI, this season was filmed during covid, Billy is Australian and was in Australia during filming, so his and Max's scene was filmed without them being in the same room let alone the same country

Do you remember if you watched the credits for ep 4 after the episode? the instrumental music of running up the hill makes you feel a rollercoaster of emotions after that episode! and it's also such a good instrumental version, the violins part kills! I cried during the whole credits 😹 tried to give that experience to my bf while he was watching but he skipped it... I got so offended lmfao

I've watched 3 reaction videos by 3 different channels and despite talking about seeing Nightmare and none even noticed it was him. He was on the show bones and on that and this they show his hands first and she's moving them like Freddie did.

@@courtneymoore3177 yea most reactors I have seen didn't seem to notice I didn't know he was on bones but I didn't faithfully watch bones. When I first saw this episode I recognized him as someone familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it at first I had thought the younger Victor man actor was just wearing a mask to look older but it still didn't seem right and the voice was too familiar and that other actor couldn't change his voice to sound like that and then when Dustin made the reference to Freddie I thought to myself "wait that looks like it could be Freddie is it possible?" So I looked it up and sure enough it was him Robert England lol I had not seen him in so many years yet he will always be familiar I just don't go straight to thinking about it being him because he is always just Freddie to me lol

Max’s scene at the end of episode 4 was one of the very few times I’ve ever stood on my feet yelling at the tv screen, and crying alongside the guys as they held her. You really do feel like you grew up with this cast, and their acting is so phenomenal that it always holds you close

Hey guys, great reaction. Wanted to tell u about each kid's trauma. Chrissy was bulimic, due to her mom constantly telling her she's putting on weight. In her nightmare sequence, her mother kept saying "I let your dress out. See if it fits now." Fred's secret was running away from the car accident & letting another boy die. We all know what Max's trauma is. The basketball player, Patrick, lives in an abusive household. Lucas said/says something about it. He tells the others that Patrick would show up to practice w/bruises. Anyway, that was all I wanted to say. I'm really enjoying these reactions. Keep it up.😊👍

It doesn’t matter how many times I watch episodes 4&5, I still ALWAYS get chills during Max’s struggle with vecna, and when El finally gets her powers back and uses them for the first time. The next few episodes are the exact same, instant chills with any baby El scenes and current day El. Season 4 truly is TOP tier

Omg I’ve been waiting for this!! The running up that hill scene with Max will forever be one of the greatest moments to ever exist. The fact that it could have gone either way really says a lot… (because of them showing us the happy memories and all) and the metaphor for wanting to live and keep living alongside Sadie’s acting skills as well as her portrayal of Max’s desperation for that is just so powerfully and masterfully done. I don’t think I’ve ever been scared while watching a show before because she’s truly in my top 3 characters on my favorite show. Your reaction did not disappoint at all. Thank you, once again, for the content you keep blessing us with ❤️❤️ Today is my 22nd birthday and this reaction was like a gift for me. So happy for this upload :)

I thought nothing could top Hopper's speech at the end of Season 3; but honestly, Max's letter to Billy was something else. Sadie Sink's acting has always been brilliant, but she absolutely broke the scale here. It's an understatement to say this, but during that whole scene, I wanted to walk into the screen and give Max the biggest hug 😪😪

As a means of seeking therapy, I highly recommend reacting to Gravity Falls. A light-hearted, comedic, and family friendly version of Stranger Things. Brilliantly written, bonkers, full of mystery and comedy and surprises you don’t see coming and wonderfully disturbing moments. You’ll have tons of laughs and that will be therapeutic

Amazing how the #1 episode in the show's history (at least, until that point) was the only episode in all 4 seasons not to feature the #1 star of the show. Sadie Sink deserved an Emmy. 37:46 You guys looked so confused. It would help if you reacted to WAR GAMES- a 1980s classic about 1980s technology (the online dialup method they heard on the phone) leading to Global Thermonuclear War. 48:20 The original plan for David Harbour was to leave Stranger Things and have a bigger role with Red Guardian with the MCU. But, since the MCU started to show weakness (and is now on life support), he decided to return to Stranger Things leading to this unexpected, awesome character arc for Hopper in Season 4
