The kids are better off in the school system in utah. And its much cheaper and its not falling apart like ca. With Jack, when he was a baby / toddler and they lived in Hawaii, I saw a happy couple and a dad with great relation with his son, even though they went on many 'me time' vacations. With the little girl I see a girl who is attached to grandma and grandpa since they are apparently the only most constant in her life, and a mom that's now coming over very self absorbed. 'Normal' moms of little toddlers don't speak about their cool new nails and tours with their hubby to far away cities and concerts. They are concerned about what their toddler will feel when mommy is away. And she's laughing when Sunny moves to the grandparents instead of her, after she's back from probably another holiday (I didnt watch that part, don't watch much anymore). And I read there is also a nanny? Im not sure they read these comments, nor if they understand about attachment. The first 3 to 4 years are super important but you seem to be unaware.

I was born and raised in Orange County, California. Was blessed with my Mom working at Disneyland growing. It was the happiest place on Earth back then. I live on the same street I grew up on. My children went to all the schools I did. My husband surfs too. You can go snow skiing and surfing in the same day. Saying all that, I think parts of Northern California I am sure have very special places to bring up a young family still. Around Orange County it has become so expensive. Too expensive. Also our school system have changed. What they want and are teaching the kids today is messed up. But your children in a Christian school or charter school. You have great values in your family and with your friends. Keep to the smaller towns. This place is not what it used to be. We still have good people and beautiful places to visit. Do your research to the places you are looking at. Sadly the homeless problem has gotten out of hand. Do your research. You have a beautiful family. Don't change. Bless you all

Lord knows if I had to start over these days with a young family I would quit work and homeschool them. Families CAN make it on one person’s paycheck if the wife cooks the food and has fun teaching the kiddos and planting a garden together and maybe have some chickens to tend, etc. I see many young BIG families doing this nowadays. Like the good old days when the father was a biological male and was the patriarch of his family. Bring it back! Plant gardens, raise things up right, including your kiddos!

Homeless everywhere. I’m in a small town and there was a homeless man washing his body with the sprayer over all the produce last week. I’ve driven past so many naked people and people dedicating next to the road. We don’t use parks here. Everything is so expensive. I agree. I was homeless half my childhood, either living in hotels or women’s shelters, the other half was spent living in apartments for a year or two at a time. I changed schools 9 times from kindergarten to junior year. The only home that was constant for me was my grandmothers. Especially now that my dad passed away, that house has so many memories for me and is the only HOME associated with my childhood. Everything else was just a place to survive in. My kids have grown up in one home so far and we plan on buying our first house soon. So they’ll only have to move the once. But I want a big home they can live in as long as they want. I want it big enough that everyone can come live with us if things get bad. Because I know what it’s like for things to hit a hard turn and throw you back a few paces. I can’t believe how quick some privileged people are to just jump onto the next ‘exciting’ thing. If you’re always chasing adrenaline, it will always result in temporary happiness.

I don’t understand why you have or need a nanny. You two are home full time. Making videos and podcasts is hardly a 40 hour a week gig. Sarah seems so empty and vapid. She makes a big deal about her nails all of the time. It’s so superficial. Doesn’t she realize most of the country is broke these days. They are so not aware of how they come off. I also don’t think it’s good to constantly ask your young children what they like or want. Let them be kids. They should be playing and not burdened with all of your constant peppering them with questions. It’s like you are training / prompting them on how to answer. They are not adults and should not be included in decision making. They probably don’t feel like you two are the leaders of the family. It makes kids insecure and neurotic. As parents you should matter-of-factly tell them what you are doing instead of always asking them their opinions on adult decisions. It’s really weird. Everyone knows you only do this for the videos. Please stop. Also, Jack needs his hair cut out of his eyes. You are putting how he looks over his well being. It’s mean. He has to constantly move his hair out of his face. These two are really selfish parents. Grow up.

I am glad you are moving closer to Tanner and Lo. One piece of unsolicited advice I will give you is, please bloom where you are planted. I think it will be great to be so close to your brother and SIL and the kids will love being close to Ozzie and Stella. But there is no “perfect home”. The family inside is what makes it perfect. If you are still longing for Hawaii, why don’t you and Tanner’s family buy a small condo together so you can spend time there a few times a year. I think a few others have suggested this. And lastly, please, please, please do not move to California. I have lived here for 45 years and raised my family here. My kids were safe and we loved it at the time. However, I wouldn’t do it today. It is crazy expensive, crime is at an all time high, when my grand kids come to visit I can’t even let them walk to the end of my driveway to get the mail without watching them like a hawk. About 10 years ago, someone tried to abduct my niece and her cousin while they were walking to the grocery store in the middle of the day. Thenkfully, a kid on his bike saw the whole thing and threw a giant rock at the man’s bank window and took a pic of his license plate. And yes, we live in a nice neighborhood. I’ll be honest. I’m worried about what you are teaching Jack about life. Honestly, asking him if he likes the Hawaii house. Asking him if he’s going to miss the house you are currently in. It’s as if you’re teaching him that a physical house brings happiness. If you’re not happy, then you just move. That’s not realistic for most people. Teach him about love, commitment, happiness comes from family, not material things. You just shouldn’t teach him that you run away if you’re not content. Learn to be a content family. Just my humble opinion.

I think honestly you guys and Tanner and Lauren should go in together and buy something in Hawaii to either live in together full time or use as a vacation property so you can go more often. You guys do not need the size houses you have, your families are small. You could get or build a small dual family property such as a duplex.

This would be a good common sense approach…
@lethiapage47675 ай бұрын
I couldn't stop thinking about this and even looked up some stuff on Zillow. Keep in mind I know nothing about Hawaii, real estate or anyone's real money situation. Most multiple-family properties I saw were in the 7 digits. Basic no frills properties. Even if more children join the party a family of 5 or 6 can thrive in a 3br\2ba home or apartment. And your property can be small because you are outdoor people living in recreational paradise. But if you bought a duplex there's two homes connected one for each brother's family. If you bought a triplex then you each have an apartment with one for guests as needed and then use it as offices for everyone and Lauren's music space. If you got a 4plex then you are looking at all that plus a nannyshare or rental space. And I mean really if you all pooled finances why couldn't you look into a small hotel or resort property that is mostly rentals and live there and fund everything with tourists?

As long as you provide all docs as organized as possible, since y’all are self employed you’ll need tax transcripts, maybe a letter form a CPA (depends), no big purchase, no large cash deposits, try not to move around so much bc it helps avoid less docs being required. Y’all should be able to close within 2-4 weeks once under contract. Gotta consider appraisal orders, title docs, homeowners insurance, disclosures, etc. & most importantly best of luck! 🙌🤩

But nothing like the beaches in Hawaii. I suggest visiting different parts of CA to find out more about it. The state is huge and has so many variables. If you're thinking of public school for your kids, look into where to find the best school districts. If you can afford private schools, then it won't be so hard to find good ones. Best wishes always! ❤️🧡

She seems avoidant and disconnected from him and more into all the projects, making money, and constant superficial appearances (clothes, nails, hair). Meanwhile Derrick seems anxious, sad, and people pleasing her. He needs to give himself the love and respect she's not giving him and she needs to find her appreciation in realizing how lucky she is to have him. Maybe it's time for couples counseling. Especially since if we can pick up on the discontent, the kids sure can, and that can be very damaging for kids forming a sense of what love and connection looks like.

To own a decent home is super expensive in Cali and Hawaii because of really high property taxes. I pray the Beestons will stay close together, near family, to provide more safety, security, and stability for their children. I hope they will save some of their money for whatever lies ahead. They could look into opening a Beeston Family Trust Fund and also, find ways to insure everything they own and life insurance on both parents in case anything happens to one or the other. The last time our city had people gather in the park for fireworks for the fair days, fireworks were exploding only feet from the ground, very close to the crowd. My son was 6 and I was shielding him to keep him from getting hit. Several people around us, including a little girl sitting right behind us, were hit. They ended the show early when a dumpster near the staging area caught fire. It was a literal dumpster fire. The emts were treating people at the ambulance as we walked back to our car. Now, they set the fireworks off in a central location that can be seen from most homes and several parks with a wide clearance to prevent injuries. That was 2019 and I only went back to a fireworks show last year. And even then it was a last minute decision on the 4th. It was scary. This was also in Utah.

I was born and raised in Huntington Beach CA, it was a great place to grow up in the 60’s - early 80’s, we left in 1993 when my son was 3 because I did not want to raise my son there, we moved to Colorado. He had a stellar education, we camped, snow boarded, water skiied. My son and daughter-in-law have 3 boys under age of 5 they refuse to raise their boys in CA and that is living with high 6 figures income. They moved to the Ozarks, it’s beautiful, lower crime rate, family oriented, affordable. They want a place their sons can grow-up and build their own life in the family business. I live on Oahu they refuse to raise boys here, I’m leaving the island as well. For the past 25 years people that lived in CA for decades have been leaving for a reason. I really like you kids but I think you need a reality check. When you have children it becomes what is the best option for my babies growing up. I feel like the places your choosing would have been good places in the 80’s, not in today's world. You need to be teaching your children foundation and gratitude. This isn’t cute or funny anymore, it’s more than what color you want your hair this week, you need to grow-up, your raising children. Think about what you are teaching your children, basically it looks like instant gratification and never being satifisfied. Is that what you want for your children?

I watched the video and I still don't understand why they're leaving the house that they just built?

@@CaseyMarie11-11I know in a previous video they were upset about the rental rules of their HOA. They can’t rent their house out while traveling to Hawaii even if they’ll be gone for half the year. Never buy a house with an HOA. I don’t know a single person who doesn’t hate theirs

It seems like your popularity and the wealth you have from your online ventures is badly influencing you. You are attempting to live a jet set life. This could easily blow up your family. I would not be surprised if your inlaws are panicked and afraid for you. Most people do not remain balanced when they quickly get famous and rich. Stay near the grandparents, they will help you stay balanced and focus on your Bible beliefs. I know you are still very young so listen to those older than you that love you. Stop running. Please.

Lordy, so much California hate here. I've lived here all my life and it is wonderful. It's expensive, but we're open and welcoming. I've been to many states I really would not want to live in, but I would never make the type of negative comments about those places that people make about California. This family is really the epitome of California-ness. They would likely fit in in Orange County, San Diego or Santa Cruz really well. I don't really get their somewhat impulsive/social media lifestyle, but that's for them to decide and for the rest of us to shut up about. That's one of the best parts of CA, you do you and I'll do me and we can just get along, no problem.

I agree with you about California. I live close to the beach in North San Diego County. There are lots of surfers at the local beach whenever I drive by. The weather is usually in the 70's year round.
