Great job, mostly basic chords but an outrageous progression and lyrics, Pete Townshend is a genius. Thats going right on the song list, gonna make the wife sing harmony on that one 😅 👍

Bravo - very well done. This has to be the most moving chord progession I’ve ever heard; it's deeply emotional and tragic. Pete clearly put his inner soul into this piece; I hear these ringing cords from your SG and they sound almost celestial. Thank you for sharing this - its my favorite music - from a much better time, long ago

The chord at 6:40 is an Eb maj 7. Eb G Bb D if you play all six muting the A string. On the guitar from low to high strings: Bb D G Bb or G minor if you play just the bottom four.

What the hell did Pete tap into with these chords and changes? Something very basic near the brain stem? 43 years later, one electric guitar, and I’m still getting juiced.
