Excellent transcription James. Many thanks. You’ve captured all PT’s nuances brilliantly. For my own benefit, Middle 8 section starts here 4:21 Chordal changes at 5:23 Picking style from 8:17

Holy shit, it was 50 years ago! Same with baba o'riley.... I had to go look that up. I remember seeing The Who back when Happy Jack was a big hit. In a high school gymnasium!! One of the greatest bands ever and Pete is certainly one of the greatest rock songwriters. I gotta take a break and go listen to The Who.

One of Pete's best songs. Just 3:40 minutes of perfection. The stand-out of Who's Next; an album with no clunkers, in my humble opinion.

Townshend's rhythm is so cool. Acoustic and electric. My favourite guitarist songwriter. Mind you Ronnie Lane (April Fool) and Nick Lowe (Brinsley Schwarz, Despite it All) and Blue on Blue, wouldn't be silver or bronze come to think of it. Keep the belter coming. Loch Lomond on fire with inspiration. 👍

James is uncanny how he gets every finger position and chord right, every time. Then plays it like a virtuoso. I often watch his video, then get a printout elsewhere with lyrics. Then if they even have the right key, fix all of the chords to play it like James. I'm a musical dunce but you make it doable without all of the theory gobbledegook. Thank you again sir.
