Full time Rv family here. Also a pilot car business owner. The reason the pilot was blocking traffic is because that bridge had no shoulder for the wide load. Once across the bridge they released lane one again. 🤗

My wife and I used to be huge fans of Grand Design, but no more. We have bought 2 travel trailers from Grand Design, one in 2020, and the second in 2022. We went with Grand Design because we had seen many KZbin videos about how they provide great Customer Service and stand behind their products. With our first unit, there was a parts failure on the propane valve. I contacted Customer Service, and they told me there was a recall on that part, and I had to take it to a Grand Design dealer (2 hour drive), but the dealer did not have the part in stock. I ended up buying the part and installing it myself. When we recently bought our 2022 315RLTS, we had a lot of trouble with the dealer. I contacted Grand Design Customer Service, and they responded and offered no help, and were not at all concerned with the poor treatment we were given at the dealership. They have lost us as customers.

Guys, the reason the pilot car was blocking the left lane from passing the wide load was they were approaching a narrow bridge with which the Oversize driver has to center up to distribute weight and girth...... He was protecting the automobiles from getting squashed by the bridge side. Patience Grasshopper Patience

Oh definitely that’s what was happening when I was filming . We had been following for 20mins prior to that with plenty of opportunity to be over. We see loads like that all the time. These particular people I suspect were newish.

Those little guys will not make it out in the wild. They will die if left outside in the wild. Poor little guy needs a cage home or his owner. More than likely he got out when his owner was cleaning his cage. Hope he finds his way back to his owner. I'm betting his owner is heart broke.

Just curious, when you were deciding on your RV & truck combo, did you have the truck first or did you buy the truck to pull the RV. ? I’ve been told get the truck first & get the RV first. Any recommendations? Thinking bumper pull or 5th wheel.

We knew the relative size and we were fairly confident we were getting a TT so we bought the truck first. I honestly would nail down the rig first then get the truck. If you need a truck now buy a 1 ton single rear wheel. Diesel if your traveling at least a couple months a year and can afford it. You will get the money back in the end no matter what.

That little bird looked like a Budgerigar a long way from home we see flocks of them in the Aussie outback absolutely beautiful to see them, and also in Nana kitchen great little domestic bird the chirping and you can train them to talk my Nans used to talk “Whose a beautiful boy!”

We're just about to reach the date of closing on our sticks and bricks, 40 acres to go and get ourselves a "new" coach/5th wheel to give this whole "full timer" thing a shot, before we die, according to what the wife says.... I honestly didn't know she was gonna "off me" that early in life but, ya know... I've learned many many many years ago to remember two phrases to keep the marriage happy.. 1. Yes Dear 2. (Probably one of the most important of the two....) I'm sorry. It was my fault. Guys , it's been 32 years this December. No one can tell me my two choices of those are wrong... I met Renee and Carl this same way quite some time ago. (Ask them about me. The guy from Arizona.... They should know... ) I've watched all theirs. Now I've got yours to binge on soon. Keep this up!
