The reason the content creator skipped over the process of getting the Windows 10 64 iso is because you can no longer go from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I was told this directly from Microsoft themselves. So if any one on here is having a similar issue, that is why.

this is false, i just tried it and it worked. the trick is to get the ISO from a NON-WINDOWS 7 machine. in my case i downloaded it from a linux machine, then put it onto my windows 7 machine. for some reason when i went to try and get the iso on a windows 7 machine, it just kept offering the download tool
