we can't staff corrections, police, hospitals or ems.... let's hire 87000 new IRS agents

Yes indeed, the awful truth..smh

The issue is law enforcement is always hiring. It's extremely easy to get into now, nobody wants to do it. You tell someone you're a correctional officer or cop and half of them immediately hate you. It's hard to keep a relationship. It's shitty.

Nice job news team. The guy speaking doesn't want them to know how short staffed they are, but now that friends and relatives have seen this story, they might get the word.

I've been in this situation before. If staff are required to fulfill the duties of 3 staff per pod, they should be paid for 3 staff.

It's only hostal because COs put pressure on the prisoners beating them locking them up in solitary and much more .The whole systems made up to make the inmate not want to be there but they take it to the max .
@christinajones76962 жыл бұрын
These MoFo need to be beat. Some of them do not want to obey their parents or authority or they are a menace to society. That’s how some of them are there.

😂😂😂do you even work in that environment, they commit crimes of murder attempted murder, robbery, you have no idea the state mandates and investigates the institutions regularly. Stop listening to main stream media these are teenagers that would going to Prison for their crimes....you got it twisted and you have no idea what your talking about. They should be in Prison not in a Juvenile facility with kids that may have made a one time mistake. They get influenced by the more sophisticated

The State's licensing criteria are strict & hard to abide by, with the money they have. Therefore, many of the other residential facilities that did exist, have been closed. Now, there's a shortage of residential placements for minors. If they close this one, where are they gonna put all these juveniles? They already have too many. Good luck. These places are expensive to run 24/7. The State is shooting themselves in the foot, but they don't care because it saves money. Moral of the story, the State doesn't care about kids or juveniles.

This is not a four-six year old problem. Gradually evolving into privatization which was the plan in the 90s.
@mikeuunderwood9545 Жыл бұрын
@creating1_c1999 I know. My wife did 10 yrs as an officer in the system. She got out because of what she saw coming and then with the governor privatizing corrections, she bailed. It's been bad for both sides far too LONG. 😕
