Respectfully, first of all people need to learn how to pick their lifelong partners better, especially if you plan on having children, then you won't be left to raise your children all by yourself, it's sad that every time you see one of these stories about so-called blacks in the inner city, the father is nowhere to be seen. Second of all, jail and prison are not supposed to be 5-star resorts for your little bad ass children, it was intentionally designed to be an extremely uncomfortable place so that hopefully people will not want to ever come back. And again respectfully, if you expect the State of Michigan or any other State to raise your bad ass kids, please don't expect the best conditions for them, because the last thing on a politician's mind nowadays is the wellbeing of your fatherless children, you can't sugar coat this chit, it starts in the home, children are and will always be a product of their parents. They should call in a plumber to snake out the drain and then give some of those want to be thug kids, hazmat suits & have them mop that chit up & disinfect their own living quarters, they shouldn't put any more tax dollars into these correctional facilities, they're just fine as they are. What the county doesn't want to tell you is that half of the buildings and homes here experience raw sewage backing up into them quite often, due to the poorly maintained 300-year-old plumbing infrastructure here, it's all a game, if any money is released to fix up these facilities, you can bet your life it won't be spent on what you're expecting, but instead will be spent to pay for these greedy politician's car and house loans, their children tuitions along with lavish vacations and lifestyles, it's all a big game. The only for sure way to keep your children out of these hell holes, is to raise them up in a two-parent home, under the righteous laws, statutes and commandments of the only living GOD and then you won't have to worry.

Noah, I don't want to debate the 2 parent in the home situation. All I know is that when I worked there, the facility was new and still there was flooding done by the clients. They did this for numerous reasons, most out of frustration. The politicians always were and I'm sure they always will be the benefactors of all the rewards for this failure of a system. This is the reason for all of the high recidivism rate in the adult facilities. It is that they are used to it. For some it is home and others it is a vacation from reality. Mostly it is 😔sad

i was arrested for mistake someone use my name for years i told the police i was in the army during that time you got the wrong person i stayed a day in dickerson prison when my wife place bail she waited 5 hrs before they called my name stood up to answer the guard said not you sit the fu.. down then he came back to release me and said you are the guy as i was leaving i ask my wife what took so long the cop behind the desk said shut my as,, up get him out of here weeks later went to court with proof charges drop they had the wrong person and told me my name was common i should add a middle name to my name now i have to carry papers of proof cause the charges are still on my record i never had a record to began with they screwed up found out the birth date was the same accept for the year
