I've posted about this before. "We're pregnant" means "we're having a baby." It doesn't mean that the father also is literally pregnant. It's a metaphor that means both the father and the mother of the unborn child are equally invested and excited in the caring and upbringing of the same. That this baby was a result of a becoming of one of both partners. That pregnancy doesn't just end for the father upon conception, but all throughout the "pagdadala". That even though the father is not carrying the child per se, he is just as involved and as in it with the mother all the way. A beautiful reminder that carrying the baby for the next nine months is both an equal responsibility between the expecting couple -- not just by who possesses the womb. In a country where irresponsible fathers and single moms are becoming more of a norm, I feel that this is something we should be strongly celebrating -- happy couples ready, excited, and fully invested in taking care of their child together -- rather than making fun of something that simply isn't in your vocabulary. Its okay for you to feel anxious when you just found out that you are going to be a Father. Just finished watching this video, and it really made my eyes well up. This is such a wonderful gift/news to both you and Coleen. As I mentioned in your previous video, i grew up watching Billy and have been a fan (and still is) since that’s entertainment days. I am filled with all this emotions that everything you’ve been through led you to Coleen and to this moment in your life.
