(Assuming it was the cause of this) Strikes should not put innocent people at risk. If they were going to strike, they should have done it from the start of the shift, not in the middle of the day. If you're going to strike and put the people on your plane at risk, transfer them to a different plane from a different company. During teacher strikes, they don't go into class, wait until 4th period, and then lock all the doors and windows without any answers for the children. No, teachers don't even enter the building during strike. They don't get the children involved, or put the children at risk.

They could have told people to get off the plane, they could have turned the plane around, transferred their passengers, OFFERED A REAL EXPLANATION AND MAYBE TRIED TO HELP? If you're in a taxi, and you're stuck in traffic, your driver is going to look for alternative routes. If you're stranded on a dead ferry out in the middle of the bay, the captain is going to contact someone to get the passengers off the boat, and onto safe, dry land, or get the ferry towed to shore, or IF NOTHING ELSE, make everyone trapped in this small space as comfortable as possible. One of the fuckers didn't even try to help a woman who was having a seizure. They didn't do anything to try to help anyone, and instead insisted people stay on the hot, cramped, humid plane, where people were at risk of dying, and didn't tell anyone anything. They deserve every curse word said in this video, and more that weren't. It was entirely within their control.

I just feel like saying this; I am a student and currently getting an education in travelling (not sure what the correct term for it would be in english, but flights, travelling that sort of stuff) And even with as little experience as I have I can tell you that the fault is not the workers at the flight but the higher ups. I'm sure that the workers were just as confused as you, though this is something that should not happen. Whatever a pilot is told to do he/she has to do it, otherwise he/she is most likely going to face issues and then could possibly lose their livelyhood. I have talked with several pilots and flight attendants and they have several stories similar to this, they are told there are problems that they clearly can see isn't there but still can't do anything about it, they want to get the passengers off, but isn't allowed to etc. If you're not blaming the workers at the scene that just destroys what i just spent five minutes on. It's terrible to hear what you've gone to and this shouldn't be anything hid under a rug, I hope the both of you are still able to have a good time in Finland, it's awesome there (But not as awesome as Norway *Winkyface* )

I was just about to say. They are ranting at the cabin crew but what could they do if there were management issues, something that they have nothing to do with. As well as the whole 'well get us back to the gate then' or 'why do they stay in the sun', especially on a big airport like Vegas, things like that are not that easy because of the tight schedule. I ofcourse get why they're mad and the airway shouldn't have lied, but some of the things they are blaming them for were probably out of the airways hands (like airport schedule and rules).

The fuel thing is rather universal for cheap airlines, they add just enough fuel to make it from A to B and not a drop more. This to save fuel costs but it's a horrible practice as it can turn out deadly in the long run if you slip up somewhere. Either you need to refuel because of waiting too long or you fall from the sky and end up in a crash. So is it safe for those inside the aircraft? I'd say not at all. With the engine overheating, that sounds to me like poor maintenance, the FAA would drill their asses if not completely shut them down for something like that.

This happened to me in March this year on an EMERGENCY FLIGHT from Florida. We had to fight to get on the flight as my dad had important medication he could not do without, they separated us into different classes and me, my dads carer was told I wasn't able to see him during the 8 hour flight. The plane got to the runway, stopped, turned back and went straight back to the gate. An engine and the cooling system on the plane started to overheat and they told us to stay on the plane as if we went off we weren't allowed back on the plane while all air-con was turned off and people started overheating in standard class (Where I was situated). Ended up being kicked off the plane after 2 hours and the only reason we were given a hotel stay for the night was because my mum had been placed in first class and got first choice. This was the last emergency flight back to England, we were being dropped off at the other end of the country, lost our bus back to our home, booked a train, ended up being delayed 24 hours so missed that to and had to pay for another train only to be told we could get a free bus back to halfway up the country. No refund, We lost 2 weeks of holiday just to be told 'lol nothing for you' Worst part is there was people on the plane who could not speak English and they were left completely alone as staff could not help them.

Titus Priz the Wiz I NEVER once had a problem with them personally and all their employees are incredibly nice. If you look down in the comments there are a few flight attendants and workers that have given the reason why they would take these actions. Not to be a dick, but Aki and Joey handled this situation very immaturely. For some people it seems like "DUH!!" about if you should or shouldn't, but here in lovely old America it's a case of "should we call 911" is code for "can you afford the ambulance?" That's a pretty bad excuse. In the US, there are multiple hospitals that are "pay if you can". Not all, and probably not the majority, but there are certain hospitals that will save you first, and ask questions later. All they care about is saving your life, and if it turns out you can't afford the care, well that's okay, they have plenty of people who can afford to pay them for their services, what matters is that you're alive.

Yeah, I was thinking this as well. The attendant was waiting until the woman was conscious so she could ask the woman whether or not she needs an ambulance. I've had many fainting spells and I always appreciate when people wait for me to come to before taking action in calling 911 because I can't pay $2,000 for an ambulance ride, especially since my fainting spells can easily be fixed with a bottle of water, a small meal, and rest.

MizukiUkitake The hospital will always treat, and will always make sure they get their money from you. They will set you up with payment plans, loans, etc. to pay off medical bills, but they will NOT just let you walk out without any discussion of payment. You don't get a free pass just because you can't afford it. I really wish we had that sort of system but we don't. Ambulance ride alone in my area is $2,000 dollars, and hopefully you have good insurance to cover the expenses within the hospital because that's all that will be covered, and usually it's a percentage of the costs rather than a base value (depending on your insurance of course).

Welp, as a trainee aircraft technician(that is currently on on-job-training) i have a few thing to say about dis shitty situation: 1) they pretty much already violated the procedure from the moment they touch the runway, no aircraft is allowed to stay on the runway/taxiway for more than 1 hour, because ATC(Air Traffic Control) already planned out the take-off/landing schedule, so there isnt any favourtism in play for airline. 2) also, since there are passengger who are sick, its already an emergency situation at that point. The captain/cabin crew need to request the airport ambulance or turn around to an avaiable apron/gate since all airport, no matter how busy it is, they will have an extra apron/gate for emergency situation. 3) also-also, when an aircraft refueling, no passenger/crew member are allowed during the refueling operation except the authorize personnel, to avoid accident/incident from happening. OwO, in Aviation Industry, safety is the number one thing we must abide. If we do not, lives could be in danger. If any exp Technician/Engineer that would like to engliten/explain dis situation or comment about my comment ples do.

I know what it's like to witness a seizure and how scary it is. My mother is epileptic and has had seizures since she was 9 years old. She had a lot of them when I was younger and it was very traumatic to witness when I was 7 and by myself and sometimes she would fall and hurt herself. It was even more scary when she had one when she was pregnant. I don't think it is. I was flying on this small flight from a small airport in Alabama and before we took off, they received orders that they were going to have to reroute the flight around some bad weather, so they refueled the plane real quick and then maybe 10-20 minutes later we took off.

I had the same problem with Allegiant Airlines also! I was trying to get to Panama for my Grandmas birthday and we had gotten on the plane. We were supposed to stop in Dallas the Dallas to Panama but then we ended up in Louisville for a so called “Emergency stop” when nothing had happened. They wouldn’t tell us why we had landed and we stayed on the plane for maybe 3 hours before they had said we stoped Because we ran out of gas. It made no sense just do to the fact that we had landed in Louisville 3 hours ago and that was already wasting gas. 2 hours later they say that there was another flight to Dallas on the OTHER SIDE OF THE AIRPORT. We all get off and go There. we sat for another idk about 5 MORE HOURS because it was delayed for who knows what and people were getting mad because they missed their flights. We get back on the plane to go to Dallas and when we arrive in Dallas it’s already 12 something and no more flights until the morning. I had a 2:30 flight from Maine to Dallas. Suppose to arrive in Dallas at 7:30. We had stoped in Louisville around 4 ish and didn’t get out of Louisville until 8 at night. Then we went to Dallas arrived at 12 am and no more flights and we had to wait UNTIL 5:30 IN THE MORNING FOR ME TO GET ON MY LONG 7 HOUR FLIGHT TO PANAMA! it was crazy. My family started using American Airlines.

One thing that is a little (a lot) shady is there are these small planes that is the only way to get into small towns in the U.S. these planes need quite a bit of experience to be able to fly as opposed to a bigger plane. So there aren't as many pilots for them. What does great Lakes do? Take out seats so that they can have Pilots with less experience fly them. So not only are these planes a little freaky to be on due to constant alarms going off (these are normal in bigger planes it's just that it's only heard for the people driving it instead of the whole plane) you also have the worry about the pilots not having much experience. United got a lawsuit for almost killing a mother's 4 month old baby because "bad weather delays" they were on the tarmac in 90 degree weather for 3hrs and wouldn't let them off the plane for safety reasons when the baby was turning purple.until they finally let her call 911.I took a 14hr delta flight to CA with one stop.There was less then an 1 hr delay because technical issues, and decided to cut losses and switch planes, they full refunded everyone that missed there stop to connecting flight. and had us on take off in the next plane with in 30 mins.There is a huge gap between trained staff and untrained.Delta knows what's up.

Bunnie Hartley its the same with KLM i missed my flight do to mistakes of a third party and they just rebooked my flight to the next flight and even gave me a upgrade to business without any extra cost.

You handled this situation a lot better than my dad would have. My dad used to fly with that plane line when I was little. He traveled a lot for work when I was a kid due to working for the department of energy. I can remember like clockwork he would come home and have some kind of a complaint about his flight whether it was something like what Joey and Aki dealt with, or something even worse. Eventually he just gave up on the airline all together and has sworn off ever flying with them again unless it's an emergency and he has no other choice.
