I love George Straight and Miranda Lambert, there’s very few stars who can hold a candle to Merle Haggard. Merle had the looks, the velvet vocals and was one of the greatest songwriters- he really needs a biopic because he’s lead a life like no one else.

I do remember his younger years . Google a biography for the name of v the book . There may be a more recent one too.

I used to dress up in my Wrangler jeans and little cowboy hat and cowboy boots while my dad was driving a big rig across the United States I would use the sleeper curtains as my stage curtains lol I was like 6 or 7 I thought I was a little George strait and my dad would listen to me sing his songs for miles and miles 😊love those memories and miss those times
