6-0 and we had 1 (I think, erroneously)chopped off, hit the woodwork and made their keeper make great saves. Could easily have been worse for the saints. Valle and Trusty did well. Idah scores, Bernardo pushes Engels for MOTM, Kyogo scores 2 away from home, Maeda giving right wingers and right backs nightmares. All your new imports starting to show, old faves peaking... magic! Can't ask for much more HH [... oh, forgot about McCowan! Almost scored (twice in seconds) too!]

Dont understand how the ref after looking at it with VAR could rule out Maeda's goal. There needs to he consequences of the wrong decisions. This same ref and VAR made a similar bias mistake against Kyogo when he was taken out by the goalkeeper earlier in the season.

Agree it's a terrible decision but if we start having consequences for bad var / ref decisions it would make problem worse. "Remember" this is the best Scotland has, replacing them enhances the problem.

As good as Trusty was I don't like to hear folk saying that he will take over from Scales due to his 6 million price tag. But how much would Scales sell for now? A established international, a champions league man of the match award twice, Part of a successful premier league winning team, pard of a defensive unit breaking a 100 year record of clean sheets.Scales would cost more than 6 million.

For the disallowed goal, Trusty was basically penalised for being a big strong guy. The St Johnstone defender ran in to him & bounced off him. If the defender had ran in to say Kyogo, Taylor, Kuhn, He'd have absolutely flattened them but because he ran in to a big centre-half he came off second best. It's never a foul in a million years.

Last week we were told valle "needed to be stonger" when he was pulled back, but we get a dissallowed goal because a st Johnstone player ran into trusty and got flattend? The first goal for Celtic was sublime. It is utter shite that it’s not the major talking point, it is. VAR is being used to cancel any goal that they possibly can. It was the same with the first goal against the filth, we still haven’t seen the straight lines of VAR for that one either. No comment from transparent Willie either!🍀😎🍀

Just looking at our Starting XI vs Atletico Madrid last season when we got beat 6-0 away. Hart, Johnston, CCV, Scales, Taylor Bernardo McGregor MOR Palma Kyogo Maeda Compared to the team that started yesterday, I'd say KS is a big upgrade on Hart. Kuhn is a massive upgrade on Palma. But also Bernardo, Maeda & Scales are all hugely improved compared with 12 months ago. Are Trusty & Engels better, or even just as good as, CCV & MOR? Well time will tell on that but the early signs are quite encouraging from those two But the real eye opener is the subs. In that 6-0 defeat we brought on - Iwata, Holm, Yang, Oh & Turnbull. Yikes!!! Yesterday we brought on Valle, Idah, Hatate, Forrest & McCowan. That is a MUCH stronger bench we've got to call on. None of this is to say we'll go over to Dortmund and win, It's just to say that we have at least got ourselves on a much stronger footing. Will it be strong enough? In all honesty it probably wont but I wouldn't totally rule us out.

I think it’s a testament to our transfer business this summer. Schmeichel breaking records, Trusty looked solid, Valle getting another assist, McCowan getting a pre assist and Bernado and Idah both scoring, and that was only last night.

20:26 Bernardo was moments last season, but is taking more responsibility and his decision making after the moments has been the outstanding part of this season. He is so reminiscent of big tam with the intricate touches and turns in the middle of the park, his touch to open up the play for maedas goal is the perfect example of that - you could just imagine that being rogic doing that

We are looking like a fantastic unit . Entertainment of the Postecoglou era but without the helter skelter stuff and massive gaps all over the midfield that good teams exploit… Back to the days of 90 min performances too . Big Trusty looks quality absolute athlete fantastic pace and looks very comfortable with the ball at his feet .. I really think we could be moving on to a level that we have not seen in decades .

Lol give it a rest ffs. Rodgers sees Idah in training every day and still picks Kyogo for every big game. Idah cant press or link the play as good as Kyogo and they are both hit and mis infront of goal. GG was also scoring for fun and Kyogo seen him off. Idah will be second choice for atleast this season apart from certain games where it suits a bigger striker.

Utterly brilliant from start to finish. The skill, the movement, the attitude, the goals.if anybody doubts Kyogo and what he brings to us, even when he’s not scoring, need to take up a new pastime. From Kasper to every sub who came in, top class. Daizen Maeda is a AI robot from an advanced alien civilisation. He is irreplaceable John. He is utterly brilliant. You don’t even bother when he makes an arse of a cross, or misses a chance. Because he is vital to us.,he puts the fear into every defender. Him winning back the ball when he shouldn’t have a hood, has led to so many goals for us. I fucking love the lad, I see him as one of my boys. You would think he was born and bred into a mad Celtic family. He deserves all the praise from his manager, and every ounce of love the support have for him. Tuesday night will be great. We will go there and take them on. I am still not expecting anything but having a go. We are on an upward trajectory, this may be too much, but I actually believe we can give them a game, and maybe get something. Feeling that way at all, shows how well we are doing. I don’t delude myself about where we are, but I don’t deny where we have reached either. I think we need another two windows and I think we will go for it. Right now, we can definitely qualify from this group. And that is even losing our next two CL games. But in my heart, I truly believe we have a chance. That’s a fucking brilliant feeling. Just go out and take them in Celtic. Every Celtic man woman and wean, will be roaring you on. We are proud of you, and how you are playing for us. We believe in you. No fucking prisoners.
