Them going on a quest to get percy back would be the best way to go forward in which they a. Bring him back, and b. Dont make it a cheesy rez

@@radudancoroian5169what more confirmation is needed, we’re told that Orthax gets the soul of everyone killed with the guns, as Percy dies the gun in front of him starts glowing, and Orthax picks it up.

The gun that was glowing orange signaling that Orthax was in it was the gun that Percy dropped not the gun that he got killed by so there is a small chance that Orthax doesn't have Percy's soul but that's just a theory A GAME THEORY

I will say it seemed like Ripley's/Orthax's plan was that Orthax was attached to all of the guns. But 🤷🏼 we'll have to wait and find out I guess.

Honestly, everyone is so worried that Percy wont come back because they're changing things from the campaign, but I just don't see him being gone. I think they'll bring him back in next weeks episodes. And this is coming from someone who's favorite character is Percy. I sobbed like a mofo last night while watching these, but I'm less worried he wont come back tbh. I can't imagine them making that much of a drastic change.

I just don't think it makes sense. He eye'd the dragonscale but didn't do anything with them yet, he has an important couple of lines in A Bard's Lament, he completes Vex's character, is the key to rebuilding Whitestone and the De Rolo's + he's alive in C3, they sure as hell won't let him be devoured by Orthax for eternity, and lastly he has something to say to the Matron like in episode 115 of the original.

Scanlan's thing will happen in the middle of episode 11 so there is still enough time for him to react to that. Idk if Tary is coming so thats another thing they need to focus if they are actually gonna do it.

@@ventrue7 My guess is next episode is either Percy comes back or dealing with Raishan, although it might be better if Percy comes back first and then he joins the fight against Raishan so that Scanlan is effectivelh the only member that has the burden of not participating in that fight. Then they do the "ritual" (idk how he comes back from coma) with Kaylie's song etc, and possibly cover him with pudding or whatever it was like in the original.

I think the whole blood thing is them maybe retconning pike into a blood cleric (One of the custom subclasses that they've put out) that's my best guess. Also yeah, even as a long time critter who knew vaguely what to expect, this stuff has kicked my ass emotionally lol.

I dunno, that opening scene kinda makes Ripley's point. How many times in the show have we seen some kind of raiders attack a defenseless village and slaughter innocents at random? How ,might those scenes change if the villagers had guns? I mean, she's still a total sociopath, but she's not entirely wrong.

Eh... guns vs high leveled mages... imo it's like bows and arrows vs guns at that point. Sure they could help but ultimately it just leads to more death.

Maybe that's the point. Sociopaths can be truthful. Sociopaths can have good reasons for what they set out to accomplish. But without empathy, their sound reasoning becomes monstrous. I have empathy for Ripley, and I feel like I understand why she's so adamant about arming the ordinary people. But she followed her project without an ounce of empathy for the murdered De Rolos, or the children that she tortured, or the people who would inevitably be killed long after she was finished.

@@dominikscharka4513 yup. it's just escalation. you invent guns so mages cast spells out of range for guns so you invent missiles so mages create flying protected cities and take away your resources and then we're back to the era right before the calamity once again... TBH the side with magic always wins though because they have the option of extra dimensional spaces and whatnot. it's a huge lose--lose but you can get where ripley is coming from and how she might not even care about the doubleedged sword of it all because she views it as fighting back and survival at any cost beyond just vengeance etc etc. super interesting character.
