@@TheMcCats it's because they know that the majority of people at any McDonald's will probably get your order wrong, so by stating it as an allergy, they assume that you'll put more effort into getting it right. I just thought pickles in a BigMac was particularly funny. Asking for something to be taken out was always a great way to force them to make you fresh food, although now it's cooked ahead of time anyway. That said, if you want fresh fries every time, ask for no salt. They have to physically clean an area and make fries just for you. Then just ask for some salt 😂

If you ask for no salt they have to clear out the fries section where the fries are sitting and wipe it down then place the paper that they put on your trays if you eat in down and place fresh hot fries there in order to make sure it didn’t touch an salt. I had to do this a couple of times at mc Donald’s when I worked there but it’s a good way to get fresh fries
