I’ve said for years before Obi-Wan Nairobi that people should not simp for Arcteryx tactical gear because they never wanted you to buy it anyways. That’s half the reason it was so absurdly overpriced even compared to their standard gear. On top of that several people who were “issued” the stuff Ive interacted with said it was good gear but they didn’t prefer it over other options and would never spend their own money on it. I actually do have a question. I preordered the Smersh but after reading the specs I saw that it is only 300 denier thickness? That seems super thin when looking at other gear, is that the same thickness as the real Russian Smersh? If it’s not the same as the original, what is the reason for going with that thickness? Like even my parashooter gear chest rigs are 500d and they aren’t exactly super thick and tough feeling. Hopefully you will respond on here, if not I’ll email in a couple of days. Thanks guys. ❤
