There's "barndominiums" (metal and pole buildings with living quarters) that exceed 50,000sqft\4980sqm! And the average in the barndominium class is around 10,000sqft\998sqm give or take some. And the average suburban house in Texas is between 3,000sqft\298sqm and 5800sqft\578sqm. What most of the USA considers a mansion, Texans consider a cozy cottage!

I'm not gonna lie... I cried my eyes out when I turned 30. I was reflective of where I had been, and thinking I wasn't where I thought I'd be by by the age of 30. But you know what? The 30's turned out to be the best time of my life. I felt that people really started to take me seriously, I felt more mature, and I finally let go of the heavy insecurities of my youth. I realized that you should never put labels or time restraints on your goals, and that it's not so much the destination as it is the journey. I also met some of the greatest people who are now so incredibly important in my life. My 30's has been an incredible gift, and life keeps getting better and better. ❤️

When I was a kid in the late 90s I was driving through the hill country with my parents and we saw a massive white box far in the distance on a hill top. We decided to drive toward it to find out what this strange structure was and we were so confused and delighted when we got close enough to see that it was a castle! Now all these years later seeing it completed and the interior of it is delightful. I’d love to see it in person again. I’d forgotten about that fun memory until I saw this video.

Happy Birthday belated. I would highly encourage anyone with or without children to enjoy this beautiful world while you are young. My best times were when my kids were young and we camped and hiked, went to the beach. Now in my mid 60's and have been in a holding pattern for the last 30 years for "when my husband retires". There are so many free things that are available, don't miss out on life. Stop the rat race and just go!. I'm gradually getting to where my spirit is still willing but my body refuses to co operate. We have a small boat but never fish, a tent but never camp, a bumper camper but stay home, kayaks but never kayak. I forsee that by the time his retirement comes neither of us will feel well enough to enjoy any of it. Go have fun and explore now. Work when it is necessary. My vacations are watching others. Thanks for taking people like me along.

I once read this quote that said "if you don't have children you're 30s are like your 20s but with money" Additionally I would add, this is a gendered thing where society has told women they lose value as they age, which is simply not the case.
