We really resonate with the idea of diversifying your life with what you choose to do each day. We travel full-time as well and we absolutely love that life is always changing around us while still having each other and our routines staying constant. It’s a beautiful way to live and we hope to continue to find more ways to diversify our lives! Thank you for your video! We love watching your videos 😄

Ahhhh, thank you! We live the comments and the feedback, so if there is anything you may want to know, let us know! With 3 years to go, you can also build up your points and miles to be able to travel cheap once you retire as well!

I am diversifying as well. I am finally joining you in dividend investing. I am 95% real Estate, but I am going to start dollar cost averaging into dividends

The cost of living here in Canada is getting so expensive and the exchange rates are getting worse. I think moving overseas is really the best decision for retirees. I totally agree about the points and miles. I wouldn't have been able to experience travelling in business class if I didn't collect points.

How is your point accumulation going?!?! We signed up in Dec for the RBC Avion card and just to sign up received 35,000 pts and a $100 rebate on the annual fee!

@@FIREWeGo Ooooh, thanks for the heads up on the RBC Avion Card. I've applied for all the AMEX cards in Canada so it's good that I'm now starting with AMEX USA.

Hot tip: Create an account with GCR (Great Canadian Rebates). It is similar to Rakuten Canada, however, we get more deals. Heres the link: firewego.com/go/gcr (it won't cost you anything). This is where we usually apply for RBCs credit cards ;)

As you have experience with Brazil and own property there, we also have a paid apartment in Guarapari. In your opinion, how much would be sufficient for a couple to live well in Brazil? We have already decided to stop working in 3 years at the age of 63 and live there until we retire in Florida through social security at 67."

We think that you can live a very good life with around $3000usd/month, especially because you already have accommodation looked after. The cost of living may be slightly higher where you are then Joao Pessoa. We did several videos where we broke down everything we spent (Aug, Sept, Oct) in Brazil, so that may give you a good idea!

Albania is an option! If you had to choose, would you choose Alnmbania, Bulgaria, or Romania?

We can’t get miles and points here so much in the uk, it is more difficult, there aren’t many options 😬

Look up at BAs Shopping Portal, which gives you points, too (Avios points) here: shopping.ba.com

Great video as usual, guys! 2 questions: Your property in Brazil - are you able to Airbnb (or any other type of short term rental) it when not there? Or do you keep it available for you at all times as home-based property? Sorry for being nosy, but since you don't mention kids and I might missed your first introductionary videos, do you have them? Asking because of high college tuition costs in the US, which affects our FIRE and travel plans. Thank you for your honesty and great content!

He Gean and Kristine , Yes, diversification! Been doing that form quite some time. I have a question: Do either of you qualify for Canadian Social Security if it exists? Second, what age do you qualify if it exists? I'm not very familiar with the Canadian system. JP Porto. PS. Leaving amanha for Brazil and several other SA countries.

Hey JP! Can't wait to hear all about your trip. We do qualify for our social security. In fact, we qualify for both our Canada Pension Plan and our Old Age Security benefit. So, we will have that to start collecting around age 65. Have a great time on your trip!
