I love this stuff. Favorite part is the smokiness. My introduction was the 12 year with mineral water and ice from my wife’s tio. But this masters is better. Prefer it neat now. 🥃

I’m in the RGV too. Buchanan’s is just a fantastic scotch boys. I mean I get the 12 year old for $30 at total wine and it’s comparable if not more complex than JW Black Label. Buchanan’s makes awesome scotches for a competitive market….especially if you like depth of flavor and a hint of bandaid-ashy-peat, which I love and savor. Give me this over the Macallan 12, which I’ve tried 2 iterations of…and it sucks for what you pay for it. There are others that suck too for what you pay, I’m looking at you Glenlivet 12! If you’re going single malt, go Highland Park 12 and save some money while getting an exceptional scotch.
