The Bealach na Bà is my favourite road in Scotland. When my friend and I were doing the NC500 we were headed down there very early in the morning. The clouds were low. You couldn’t see 5 feet in front of you. All the tourists pulled over just to let us go first. It’s a scary road for sure, but coming down below the clouds with the sun on the valley below is something I’ll never forget. And yes, we screamed flower of Scotland

Local to me and one of greatest bits of road I've ever driven. Although if you plot your route correctly from Burnsall up to Tan Hill Inn you can expect 30ish miles of near driving perfection. From tight windy single track stuff, incredible views and scenery, longer sweeping stretches like buttertubs and narrow up and down switch backs but with a clear view of what's ahead. I've driven the usual swiss/Italian passes and that 30 odd miles on a quiet dry day in the right car is right up there ❤

@@ZadieBearTechnically, Hammond bought out both May’s and Clarkson’s shares on DriveTribe a few years back, so he’s the owner. James is doing his own thing and appearing occasionally on the channel, and Jeremy… well, he’s doing his regular shenanigans, but now as a farmer. Nevertheless, they continue to acknowledge all three of them, as the trio’s chemistry was the thing that made us all love them 😁🎩. THEY made the show, the cars were just an excuse 😅.

I always love the Cairn O Mount Road (B974) in Aberdeenshire linking Fettercairn to Banchory. I learned to drive on that road, it’s often closed with snow. It’s got steep climbs on both ends and the views are simply sublime, on a clear day you can see as far South as Edinburgh one way and right into the Cairngorm mountains the other way. It’s a road you have to treat with respect, it can bite you back if you get too comfortable 😂

Not been on too many spectacular roads in Scotland, but the best UK road I've driven on are B4391 and A4212, accessed via B4396 from Shrewsbury all the way past Bala, Ffestiniog to Porthmadog is amazing A487 from Dolgellau to Aberystwyth is amazing too, unfortunately being a primary route it is a busy road but the way it snakes around is awesome Closer to home, from Buxton, using the A54 towards Congleton, turn right towards Macclesfield and right again onto the A537 back towards Buxton past the Cat and Fiddle Another great road is the A1031 from Mablethorpe to Grimsby, very flat but incredibly twisty and plenty of straights to overtake Sunday drivers A157 from Wragby to Louth is a very enjoyable road as well

Hartside pass for me, close enough to be local. Just a shame there is no cafe anymore at the top.

Near Goathland and the surrounding North York Moors has some amazing roads you should definitely go film. Love your videos, keep up the hard work!

Great vid. Love the reference to S10E1 Top gear too! Definitely need to feature Snake pass and Hartside pass in the future though.
