I live in MD so mostly I've been to the FL parks but I was in Anaheim once for business and spent a few hours at Disneyland there. I love architecture, museums etc but Disney makes me smile. Looking forward to seeing more of Paris though.

I loved this! Ashley’s joy at Disneyland was palpable! Don’t pay any mind to the naysayers about “Why visit Disneyland in Paris?” I lived in Paris for four years and I never went but wish I had. It’s truly a great cross-cultural experience and is actually quite a popular thing for French families to do. It’s a French thing to go to Disneyland Paris, so why not?? I’m glad you did because I had fun watching. 😊 Thank you! 🙏🏼

Oh this sure brings back memories! I was there, but a looong time ago! Probably like 20 years ago or so. No doubt a lot has changed since then. I remember having dinner at Pirates of the Caribbean, if that still exists even. Ashley's enthusiasm is just too funny :)

I just love your enthusiasm for Disney, Ashley - it's wonderful! I haven't been to Disneyland in about 10 or 15 years, but I grew up in Southern California and remember going there AT LEAST once a year, sometimes more (as early as when they still had things like "E Tickets..."), every year until I moved away in my late twenties. I never lost my enthusiasm for visiting there. I don't normally like crowds and crowded places, but this is one of my few exceptions. I have just added the Paris one to my bucket list now... :-)

When do you guys plan to visit Stuttgart? You really have to see Residenzschloss in Ludwigsburg and Besigheim. Both are 15 to 20 min away from Stuttgart. Besigheim is a small town known for they’re wine 🍷 and Ludwigsburg for the amazing Castle which looks like a smaller version of Versailles.

So, if you like amusement parks (is that the right term?) and I know that the Thalys stops at Cologne, so I recommend going to "Phantasialand" in Brühl, which is not far from Cologne and has tons of fun stuff and the fastest roller coaster in the world! 😄
