We Sailed to Our DREAM DESTINATION!⛵️🏝️

This week, we spent some quality time with the locals learning how to harvest giant clams, weave hats out of palm fronds, dance, and play the ukulele. 🏝️ We hosted friends for dinner, watched a fantastic sunset, and then made the best of a windy morning by running the watermaker and working on a new monitoring screen. 💻 The goal is to know when something is wrong with our watermaker and/or our generator before an alarm sounds or the systems shut down completely. We are always on a quest to perfect our preventative maintenance skills! That afternoon, we spotted four manta rays swimming right next to our boat. Despite the high winds, we couldn’t resist the urge to get in and swim with them.🤿 We had an incredible experience watching these gentle giants twirl through the water so close to us! 😍

Absolutely! It feels disingenuous to film, but we bring supplies to donate, food to share, cocktails are a big hit, and always ask if they have any businesses we can support. For example, the folks we hung out with in this video own the local store, so we paid them to deliver us groceries in the anchorage and promoted their services to the other boats here. ❤️
