He's needy because he looks to you for guidance, he is in a realm that he has never been, and probably worried, he doesn't want you guys to leave him like his last family did.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm liking the glorified vacation episodes. It's not as easy in a way, because the refit videos have a real clear direction.You start with a boat that doesn't sail and turn it into something sea-worthy. But so far, the pace and everything is working and I love all the sights and sounds.

You need two 15 gl water barrels on deck at all times. Don't leave home without them ... Water is number one on the list .. And dry food that can sit for years.. Do it!!!!

Guys, all boats are an accident waiting to happen. We've had people tell us "ooh, you shouldn't go without XYZ"... and to be honest, we'd never get on the water at all if we listened to all of that. Take care, be cautious when it's called for, and for the rest of the time - have fun :)

A handheld watermaker can be picked up on the used market on the cheap. They produce enough for a couple of people to tide you over between refills. Also, you can install a nice filter setup for the boat's internal water tank w/ carbon filter. Not too expensive. A future project for you to make a video about. I have these things on my boat, you can too.

looking at Minke freshened up, with the blue painted out and signs of life all over it, your boat really does look good. If I remember correctly you said the sails were new, you have good anchors fresh anchor chain, an electric windlass, tons of old but good tools, I don't remember you having to buy new lines. How were the electronics? I think you made a good choice ( I always did) and now you seem so happy being out on the water. I'm very happy that you made it. Cheers

I for one will never get bored with your videos. It was interesting seeing the two of you do all the work to the boat, how you overcame each challenge. Dear Wildlings sailing couple and dog. 👍👌👏 I sooo absolutely love to see that you are able to enjoy life/landscape, beach, water, sun and cute little Joshie. It made me smile nearly all the time. After having worked so hard, you definitely deserve all this (and more). Here are 3 💚💚💚 4U. I guess that all you need now is a diving suit for spear fishing and maybe even a small seawater desalination plant and a vertical wind turbine!? What a great picture the little campfire on the beach was! There is always free driftwood I guess. One of the best decisions you ever made was to adopt this amazingly cute little dog. Positive side effect: I guess that Joshie is responsible for quite a few views/clicks. As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. I use rocker stoppers for correcting the wobbling at anchor. They are a series of 6 cones, spaced out on a line with a mushroom anchor on the end. You attach them on both amidships. 60% wobble reduction for $300.00
