Some of the tongue and cheek kinda fun that went over kids heads seems to be missing which is unfortunate.

I just wish they’d done older more obscure disney songs like “Lavender Blue”, “let’s get together” or other songs that don’t get a lot of play in the park loops

I agree “Lavender Blue” should’ve been added to the new Country Bear attraction to remember Disney legend Burl Ives who was in “So Dear to My Heart” and “Summer Magic”.

They are trying to attract a newer audience and kids. So they have to play popular songs so they will sing along.

Just watched the Bears with D23- we loved it! We could tell how much love went into it and it was absolutely a fun time. We wished it was longer. Everyone there seemed joyful. I truly think any complaints are just for clicks. Thanks for the positive attitude and not trying to make this into the death of someone’s childhood.

So MK is going to have 3 major attractions closed for refurb at the same time? Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise? Well that will increase lines at other attractions to make the parks seem busier I guess.

Here are 4 seasons of the Country Bears! Spring: January - early May (original show) Summer: Mid May - early August (vacation hoedown) Fall: Late August - late October (musical jamboree) Winter: Early November - late December (christmas special) It may take a few weeks or a month to change costumes for the bears and program the whole show. But due to recent cultural sensitivity, some parts during the show like gunshots (or cut some songs thanks to time constraints) will most likely get removed. You'll see...

I actually really liked the new show, and compared it to the older show which I thought was boring and needed an update I don’t have any emotional attachment to the original so it doesn’t bother me I understand if someone does. That’s exciting that Japan gets a new class of ships cause their parks are amazing so the ships will be amazing also!

That set list makes about as much sense as anything. I realize it's not the 1970's anymore so most people wouldn't know the folk/country songs that the original act was based off of. I'm not a fan of shoehorning IP into everything but will admit those are popular and contemporary songs that keep this attraction fresh and memorable for a new generation. ...but not me. I'll be up in the box seats with Statler and Waldorf. ( "Get the bear off the stage! Ha-ha-ha!" )

Honestly I thought that the country bear musical jamboree was just OK I didn’t hate it it definitely had some good elements in there like the animatronics were impressive and they were like two songs I liked in the show but overall it just can’t hold a candle to the original most of the songs other than two or just serviceable at best and laughably awful at worst so yea I don’t hate this attraction but I don’t like it either 6/10

I'm 24, absolutely hate Tiana's Bayou Adventure I will never forgive Disney for taking Splash away from us. It was my favorite ride in the whole park and now that it is gone and replaced with something that doesn't even come close to living up to it's predecessor, I am just sad. It's going to be a one and done for me probably when it opens up in Disneyland, when Splash had great re-ride ability, Tiana's does not. And for country bears, it didn't have much sentimental meaning other than Big Al. He was my grandpa's favorite, he owned a plushy of him and he would tell my grandma about his song. He reminds me so much of my grandpa, and now that he has passed Big Al and Blood on the Saddle means so much to me. So when they announced at D23 they were going to change it, I'm not going to lie even though I didn't care that much for the show in general, knowing a part of my grandpa wasn't going to be there anymore was a little heart-wrenching for me, I cried so hard and was super angry watching that live stream. But I am glad that he still has a song and that it is Remember Me of all things, since it is a way to still remember my grandpa. So I am not completely against the new show, I just wish it was longer. But even young people don't like these changes, not just older people who are super nostalgic

@SlushysSecret24 күн бұрын
The company by OLC owns the Tokyo Parks, they decide the rides, if they want that ride or they want their own better version of the ride then they’ll add it, but they have no interest in changing splash, even then Iger adores Bayou Adventure along with his dirt plans that ruin the whole company

@@christopherjunkinsThat’s what I’m afraid of… I can see them wanting to replace Monorails with more (much cheaper) Skyliner routes.
