Those murals that are painted on the sides of the buildings, where done by my brother-in-law Allen Hilgendorf, him and his wife and 4 kids had a farm outside of Bancroft Ontario, unfortunately Allen passed away August 4th 2013 I see his murals all over the place in many towns and villages.

Hey, just a little FYI after talking to a friend that lives in Alaska. Her husband took some metal roofing and put into like a V with the pionted end facinf out and attached to some poles then put on the front of their ATV with pins. Made a snow plough for their trail . Don't know if you thought about that but it might help you in the snow on your trails. 👍

Wow Russell, incredible video!! I loved it all!! The song, the drone, your time with Ray, the pups, the house getting the solar, that was the house with the delicious strawberries in the back? Glad you’re getting your new panels!! Hard to believe you’re already getting snow!! Watching this late Friday, not sure if you’re on live, I’ll go check.

⛵Hey Russ, cook it in War of 1812 reenactors style, 🍽 make a Beef Stew 🍜 in a cast iron pot, 🍞over the fire; small chunks of beef, then carrots 🥕, potatoes 🥔, onions with cloves, sage, turnips, garlic, parsnip, cabbage, etc, thicken the liquid up with flour or gravy mix, can add some sausage or even corn 🌽, etc. What ever you got. Awe, just taking about it makes me hungry, I'll cook up a pot tomorrow, lasts for a few days

The fall scenery is beautiful at Raspberry Rock. Thank you for sharing Russell. Very busy time helping your friend out. The warehouse you visit has a lot of very interesting items. That back hoe digger looks like a handy machine for sure to have at the cabin. Your garden is still giving you food on the table. Well done! I would make a pot roast with the veggies around it that you harvested or a beef or chicken stew (Yummy on a cold day.) Eat hearty and enjoy the beautiful autumn days., Soon there will be a white blanket of snow over everything. Time to do a scout around to make sure you have everything you need over winter so it does not get buried. Have fun!

Hey, Russell, it's always interesting to catch some Ray, and see the many things that he can attempt to help you with. I think you're actually starting to get him spurred on. I kid, of course, but you two are the Jobs and Wozniak of the Northwoods. Or maybe you are the Tom and Jerry... That was so funny when Junebug was across the pond making serious eye contact, saying, "But I want to come home NOW---can't I just fly home? Do something..." I love that fridge with all the gizmos. If I could buy one thing in that warehouse, I'm sure that would be it. Or the mini ex, lol, serious yard redesign. It's great weather here again. If pup and I aren't down by the creek, we're on the canyon trail, very enjoyable. Drone footage was top notch as usual. Has there been a sky time lapse in a minute? Pea soup and I see a beef or venison stew in your future.

Russell, this video was wonderful. 🍁I don't care if it was an hour and 20 minutes. So much varied content. I enjoyed the beaver dam demolition process. The dynamics between you and Ray are a hoot. Your dogs finding their way back to the house around the lake...that was cute as snot (sorry...nothing cute about snot!) but your dialogue with them was very cute and made me chuckle. Your scenery footage across the lake and the drone footage was breathtaking. My favorite, tho, was the bear footage. You used exceptional self control in not spilling the beans about catching that bear on your trail cam. That was so cool. AND in broad daylight. Oh and those teensy potatoes...that was a big LOL moment for me. Lotsa great one liners. Big hug my friend.🤎

I know that auction house well, back when i used to purchase from them, the premium was reasonable. now it is 12 percent added on. so a 1000 dollar item is going to cost pst/gst and 12 percent premium. that is around a extra 250 dollars more. my question is why, it is used items. the same as if you went to a flea market. if i buy the same item, in the same condition from a flea market i pay 1000 dollars all in. just my experience and option.

You have got to kill those damn beavers. I think you have more of them now. Why can't they dam up the river crossing spot for you??? Love the animal cam. There are at least two boys worth shooting. If you want to feed the birds only during the winter season, remember to do it every day or not at all, the birds quickly get used to a constant source of food in winter and if there is no food one day, they may not survive the cold night. We never feed the birds with bread (bread in any form) and any other salted/seasoned leftovers from the human table, such food for birds is poison.

Please forgive an old man for this question: Would it be worth the effort to take down a half-dozen or so of those straight oak trees, debark them, place some transverse planking on them to make a bridge of sorts over that troublesome watercourse?
