After watching this I played back Vacant Havens visit 3 weeks ago. Alarm was fitted then, but not set, the occupier may have been at home, hiding. There were at least 8 explorers there, worrying for someone if they were there alone.

If you look at that video at about 6 minutes the landing light is on and a step ladder to the loft is position for someone to get up into the loft to hide. They move the ladder out the way, so if someone was up there they would have struggled to get down again.

Me too, but in the late 70s when I was around 8 or 9, the old lady over the road had one and I used to help her with her laundry. I used to wring the clothes for her and a few times got my fingers caught in the rollers 😂😂. They were the best days !

We were there the week before you by the looks of it. We didn't go in but the grounds were overgrown and no tyre tracks. Amazing property so we hope it gets renovated

We went to this house to check it out and whilst trying to find somewhere to park we past the alarm guy sat in his van in a nearby lane probally having his lunch lol ,we thought nothing of it until we read the writing on the alarm and put two and two together, we took a few picks at the outside cursed our luck and left, could have been worse if we were a few hours earlier and been inside when he turned up...shame as lots of great things inside.

I think that place has been done multiple times and someone has had enough. There was even a CCTV in operation sign. The place is probably pending some kind of clearance and refurb.

Love beards videos but 'seeing quite recently ' that someone's been here doing maintenance and a alarm means this isn't abandoned,basically mooching through someones personal belongings and property for the world to see must be very upsetting for the owner, probably why they or there security was shouting,i got a feeling the police will be on this one and some collars will be getting felt in the future.

Trespassing on someone else's property is never acceptable regardless of it looking abandoned and by filming and posting it on social media your giving the owner evidence for a private prosecution

A bit late on that one I've seen three different explorers but might be more last time I seen it after vacant haven silent seekers I think it's a couple any way the alarm was fitted but not set and there was a note saying by the company that the alarm is ready to set now so it must of been set before you turned up you will have to watch to find out how good it is inside that house

I'm not familiar with modern alarm systems, could there be devices now that are able to imitate someone shouting around from recordings? Just can't believe someone is hiding inside the house just waiting for explorers to show up and trigger the alarm, and neither it looks like someone would actually be living there.

There might be nothing wrong with the car and no reason why someone couldn't get it running again. Just needs to be taxed and you can drive it legally without an MOT so long as you're going direct to an MOT appointment.

I agree. A place being vacant doesn't mean it's "abandoned" and a free-for-all, it's still someone's property and is being actively maintained. Disused, derelict, pending redevelopment etc. is not "abandoned" and it's the owner's property until otherwise discharged.

Going in that property without permission is illegal and you are breaking the law!!! If you don't have permission you are just displaying how to break into someone's property. You shouldn't enter unless you have permission!!!

I keep asking how you can call a place abandoned when there is clearly someone there or if not is just closed up while the owners are elsewhere. I t is like Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones, they have houses or homes all over the world and so many of their homes are left empty for long periods with no one around. Sadly we in England and Wales do not have the right to roam freely so therefore how again do you think you can some how take the law into your own hands and decide you have the right to trespass regardless. Most times we see you inside but we do not see how you gained entry and I did like the time you got arrested by armed police with dogs, sadly the owners did not take the case to court and we could all have found out the legal status of your actions then that would clear up any doubt we may have.
