A bit emotional for me..... I was in Japan several times in 1980 when I was a merchant sailor. I was told there was a legend about mount Fuji. Its peak is very often covered in the clouds. Legend says that when you can sea the top on your last visit, it menas you will return at some moment in your life. I think I've been there about ten times. But the peak was only visible fore me at one occasion: that was at my last visit. Now I am 63. If this legend is true, I must return to Japan again.....

I don't know how recent this video is, so you might already know this. From experience having family living in Japan for 10 years. In order to save you time and money, do shop at 7 11, Lawsons and Family Mart. They have fresh food ready to eat or heat up. All of the food is delicious! Family Mart fried chicken is amazing. They will also heat up your food while you wait. And the drinks at the vending machines are also very good. Cold Lemonade! Also, take your own shopping bags when you buy anything. Can't wait to see your adventures.

The little cars are called Kei cars, the Kei stands for light automobile. Think they have less taxation or something, and have a engine limit of 660cc or something. A few were imported to the UK, the Dihatsu Copen, and the Nissan Figaro, and Suzuki Cappuccino being the most common. The Suzuki Carrier was a small van, and I think that might have been our Bedford Rascal van. Now next project fir you is to make a camper out of one of them, it's been done, and travel the world !😂 Have to make sure it had a sun roof fitted, so Chris could poke his head out of the top.
