As a true Old Town Belgrader I'm sorry your apartment experience was below average for Belgrade, with no running water, (like, what the heck, I thought the last time that happened was in the 90s??) and that scary elevator. But hey, that's the Second World for you. You asked to come and live like the average football fan, so that's a match. The typical crazy football fan here lives in no fancy neighborhood, goes to no fancy touristy restaurants, heck he probably doesn't even go to school too often 😁 And he certainly doesn't get winks from no haram cheerleaders.💃🏼 Come back soon, you guys bring great energy! PS The cevapcici (cevapi) you ate were beef. BtwI prefer Lebanese cuisine myself. Too bad we don't have any decent Lebanese food here, I loved eating it in Berlin and Paris during my college years. PPS I couldn't stop thinking about the serious, dignified-looking blond at the Red Star Ultras section. What was ahe doing there? An undercover cop? A scientist, observing the subjects of her PhD thesis in Psychology of the Masses? Or a wife trying to make it work with her "Delija" husband, bringing their son to the game? (She was wearing a wedding ring it seems, otherwise I thought she was a single mom and this was the first date where she brought her son to meet uncle Ivan the Red Star fanatic, her new boyfriend.) Great game and even greater atmosphere, made me want to go back to occasionally see international matches, as I used to before.
