Glad you enjoyed the atmosphere Rob! Just to clarify a few things from the video: 1. The banner that came down twice is for the ultras to change their clothes and wear ski masks to not be identified since lighting off pyro in Poland is illegal and you can even serve jail time for this (but usually it's just stadium bans). 2. There is euphoria after goals, but maybe you didn't experience it because there is constant singing and chanting during the game. Also Legia plays very poorly recently so that's why the joy was more composed. 3. We have a few chants for the players, however there really isn't that many because to earn a chant you must be devoted to the club. Most of our players leave after a decent season to play in a stronger league. Greetings from Warsaw, from a Legia supporter!

In Poland people that are sitting in fanatics stand, dont really care about the game or the outcome of the game. They will be there every time, this is a bound with the club, not the players and position in the table. Even in lower leagues like third of four division there will be around 200 supporters. Glad to see another foreign vloger visiting Polish stadiums, come to Poznan next time ;)

Hi Rob! I just want to say that sometimes there is extreme euphoria after the score, but it depends on the opponent and situation at the league table (Legia has to win every time, only first place will be satysfying). For example when we defeat Aston Villa this season the atmosphre after goals was mad :)

This season we have been (away) to Legia and Ajax. Most European home support is largely orchestrated (especially Legia) but hugely impressive. English supporters react to the game, have 4 chants just for the ref, some impromptu ones that are hillarious. But, mostly our supporters feed off the match & vice versa.

@CharlieandRob - you have to see the atmosphere of polish football from a different perspective. I strongly recommend seeing "The Derby of Poland" Lech Poznań vs Legia Warszawa in Enea Stadium in Poznań (arena of Euro 2012). This is a polish version of "El Classico" with the best attendance in polish Ekstraklasa. Legia Warszawa vs Pogoń Szczecin was a friendship game because supporters of both clubs are in a peaceful relationship between each other.

I can see myself on vid :) Something about cons: - you were almost on ultras sector, but on other parts of the stadium the euphoria seems different like you experienced :) - no songs about players - you know, if some player earn for song, then he disappears with the transfer for couple of euros so this is the reason:) I hope you liked the event. Yeah, the game was poor, so we need to have another attractions :) I hope also you will come again on Legia :)

They do have songs for players sometimes but usually they just chant their names. Theyre more focused to chant the team as a whole, but the limbs and celebrations I 100% agree with.

You are wrong.We always celebrat goal, but goal with Pogoń was unpredictable that most of fans didn't realised in first seconds that Legia scored. We sing abut Deyna Kazimierz, or Wlodarczyk and Szałachowski.Whats more interesting Włodarczyk and Szałachowski were more average than good one's 😂😂

The best Polish fans are volleyball fans, and you are cordially invited to such a match. Football fans have become a little more civilized, but due to the poor play of the players they do not have much time to celebrate well. Volleyball fans are much nicer and give such a family and joyful vibe - especially since our national team is one of the best teams in the world. Go to a volleyball match where the Polish national team will be playing.

i know what you tried to say about the lack of euphoria after the goal, but this is simply not true i think that we have kind of the same what you call : limbs or something like that, but you just came on the match in which legia was not playing were well and the goal was unpredictable and i think that it might sound not that loud due to fact the ultras were singing the whole game while in england it is like a contrast, fans are being quiet and then they are bursting enthusiasm out of nowhere, and in poland enthusiasm is in every second of the game even if they are losing 3-0, but i am glad that you like it, and btw the first banner they have putten is just a banner underneath the ultras are smuggling pyro and they are changing their outfits and putting their masks on the face to not be identified it is really funny to say that no ultras in poland were caught in like 30 years if it is a organized ultras group, but still it is highly illegal, but they are doing it in a very smart way. If you are on the ultras stand you cant record any videos or take pictures cause you can publish some evidence of ultras faces etc. In Poland it is really organized and it is not like you expected that they will do some pyroshow out of nowhere in the middle of the game, they are doing it once at the start or at the middle it just depends when they want, but always together with some plan, however if they have more pyro and some tifos they can do it even for whole game, couple years ago it was match also with pogon and there was 100 years anniversary of Legia Warsaw and they did a lot of pyroshows inside and outside the stadium including on the roof of the stadium, and numerous amounts of tifos.

About euphoria - there is no reason to be euphoric as Legia fan now. Legia plays poorly. Legia is always expected to win. In Poland Legia have similar status to Real Madrid. Legia should win every game (maybe away draw with Lech Poznan is acceptable). Expectations are very high, so it is hard to be happy with every single goal. Now Legia performs very weak, so pessimism is visible on the stands. In European competitions things are different. Legia is mostly considered an underdog. So every win and every goal taste better. But, of course Legia is out of conference league this year too after humiliation vs. Molde.

There are songs if sb is a legend or very good. Right now its Josue. But considering how poor Legia played those song would be full of insults. Btw Legia has won against Aston Villa half a year ago and the level of Legia then was completely different. Legia is famous for either playing very good or disappointing and pissing off its fans. W Anglii jest tak ze wywalczenie autu, rzutu wolnego, roznego wygranie pojedynku wywołuje aplauz. Po golu jest niesamowita euforia, ale za to czesto podczas meczu jest cisza i jakies tam przyspiewki o pilkarzach. Nie zdadzam sie ze nie ma euforii po golu. Jest tylko przez to ze są cialge spiewy nie ma az tak duzej roznicy. Na Widzewie jest bardziej "Angielskie" kibicowanie.

In England You dont have any tiffos, choreos, banner's, no pyro at all and You only have several chants during the game so if for You it's better to have a goal eruption insted of 90min support all way long I think something went wrong mate. Look for example at Manchester City, big club, big money, big football quality 0 songs and real fans thats sad as hell. I prefer to be part of a smaller club with real fans than be part of giant club with plastic supporters. And no offence is not personal but I just think You are not objective.
