Another GREAT video! My heart was in my throat when he was pulling up on the trailer and Chad was standing in front between the lurching car and the back of the tow truck!! First "rule" I learned about putting a car on a trailer: NEVER stand in front of the trailer when the car is coming on under its' own power!! Too easy to overrun the trailer and SQUISH YOU!!

Good save on the Fleetline when backing it off the trailer. I thought he was gonna fall off the ramps. Me heart went to me throat. Then I thought he was gonna go out over the front of it. Nice car he got there. I like the seating area in the new Garage. Jolene's good taste in furniture for sure. I still talk about that little aircraft aluminum end table you guys have. I want to build one some day.

The hood is coming along really well. Just a thought instead of welding all the panels together could a hinge be mounted to the vehicle in the center then attached to the top halfs of the hood. Then hinges on the side panels installed allowing the side panel to swivel inwards when opening one side. With all the work of welding, grinding etc.. maybe this would be an alternative with a bonus of opening the hood like a typical vehicle in the same era.

I heard is turning out fantastic! Also that was a real gem a beauty that you picked up!! My wife says you're an absolute artist. You have god-given talent. She goes on to say that she don't understand everything you're doing. I tell a lot of people don't but it turns out great at the end doesn't it and she agrees. It's taken some years by little bit of my love and lust vintage vehicles have rubbed off on her. So for her to watch you create something from absolutely nothing but very raw materials. Well that's really something! I enjoy your shows well

Looking at that flathead while your welding the hood has got to be" cooler than dangit" to borrow a phrase. Maybe put a small flat board between you and the handle of the rib breaker to spread the load, save your ribs, give you more pushing power. Lovin the build brother! I don't know how you get anything done, I would be chasing that wonderful filly all around the garage!

Chad, I can't believe all the work that you get done in one video. It takes a person with some athletic ability to do what you do. Jolene you need to get a Fitbit for Chad I'd be interested to see how many steps a day he takes. Love your videos. I watch it everyday!

Chad, tip for you if you know someone is coming to pick up a car and you are busy, maybe have it at the door, with charger on it,and all stuff out of it,plate off it and stuff you giving him in a box or trunk,so when he gets there you open door and he takes it away,a lot less for you running back and forth to get charger and tools, don't think everyone needs to see all that.

Very cool Chad , the fabrication part is really cool. I used to be into that also , welding , fabrication it's so cool. Can't do it now I had a motorcycle accident and been on my back over a year now. You kinda remind me of that guy out in California back in the 60's that used to build ratrods. I will be honest Chad looking at the vedios the countryside is beautiful there but would not live there during the cold weather. Just too cold. You have a colorful imagination.

Looking good so far Chad. The new hood looks spot on. I would reshape the cab next to look more like an old 1920's Mack AC truck cab as a suggestion. Even some of those old Macks had doors on the cab. Should make getting in and out of the truck a whole lot easier. Jolene is doing a great job with the camera and production work. Hope your ankle gets to feeling better soon Jolene. I'm sure hobbling in the snow with it doesn't feel too good at all. My goodness. You two take care of each other. I will tune in tomorrow at the same Chad time on the same Chad Channel. Lol! Thankyou for creating such wonderful content. Much appreciated.

The thought occurred to me, that if the Kids from "OUR GANG" were magically able to see the cars Chad builds, they would absolutely love them! I hope you take that as a compliment. Chad's imagination, as seen through his automotive creations, have the magical qualities children love. His creations are fun, and all have character! His visions are unique, and I think visionary. Great episodes! But I think most of your episodes are great... I was wondering how you were going to blend the two shapes of the hood (the slow curve of the cowl with the squarer shape of the radiator housing) but you did it splendidly... Although I am waiting to see what happens when you cut it all loose from the cowl and the housing, it looks like it might be kinda springy... I am really getting into the work Canadian car folks are doing on KZbin... I started watching "Rust Valley" (on TV), then I found "Fitzee's Fabrication", your channel, "Halfass Kustoms", "Make it Kustom", and "DD Speed Shop"... I am addicted to Canadian car builder shows... That figures

My grandmother bought one of those in Denver CO NEW and paid $650 or at least that is what the dealer in 1970 told her when he took in trade on a new Chevelle. Sadly the deal 'giving her the purchase price' for a car in perfect pampered condition was great for the dealer but not so great for my grandmother. I loved riding in that old (new at the time) car.

When you get older in life and you bruise your ribs or break them it is extremely painful stuff. I know I use to kickbox and box when I got older and got those injuries man they were tender. I couldn't even breathe without hurting them. That's how tender they felt, when you don't have those young muscles to support those ribs anymore it's another story all together. btw That tool that you have for pressing the metal together to help hold the tack. You should make some at different lengths that would make things easy for ya.

Now I’m not a glass scientist but, front windshield glass is laminated and the side windows is tempered. You can use a razor blade on the front glass but NOT on the side glass because the side and rear glass being tempered it’s produced with heat and if you looked under microscope you would see bubbles and using a razor it would pop those bubbles and you could see the blemish on the glass. On tempered glass use 4 ought (0000) steel wool to clean the glass, great for removing water stains.

If the fog lights were in the car when you showed it they should stay unless you clearly stated before a deal was made, that they weren’t included. Luggage is definitely personal but still should be removed before showing the car for sale. It seems he thought the lamps were included and I sympathized with him on that issue. Am I the only one that feels that way? Trucks is coming along beautifully and I enjoy watching. Hope you don’t take my comment personally just trying to see things from the buyers point of view. He seemed like a very nice man.
