I was introduced to Premee Mohamed with her "Beneath the Rising" trilogy, which was wild, and over the course of three books somehow went from a techno-dystopian action thriller to massive lovecraftian cosmic horror insanity, and I loved it. Other than that I have only read "The Siege of Burning Grass," which was entirely different, and explored ideas of nationalism and state-violence through a fantasy lens. Across the board, though, her writing was always lovely and compelling. "The Annual Migration of Clouds" has been on my TBR for a while, and your pair of reviews have bumped it up! I definitely recommend you check out her other work, too, if you get the chance.
