As a Japanese, I really appreciate your footages at mesmerizing local spots in Japan. Now, many of popular places for international tourists are overcrowded, and consequently we have problems of overtourism. Hope more flows to unknown tourist spots!

There are some fantastic alternatives to the popular spots - no question. Fukuoka is a great option! 😊

What the government should do is discount all the regional passes for tourists but keep the JR Pass high. If you could go anywhere in Hokkaido or Kyushu for a lower price than the Golden Route, I think more people would consider it.

LOL men on the boat were singing the baseball team song "Hashin Tigers" from Osaka-Kobe. They must be on biz trip from there.

Oh my gosh, thank you!! We've totally been wondering what they were singing. They were very excited about the song. 😂 😊

I like Fukuoka. It's more compact and affordable than Tokyo. Their food is amazing. Ditto for specialty coffee. Thank you 👍!

The natural spots of Japan get overlooked in favour of the cities. So glad you're going to the flower gardens! And it's my first time hearing a Minnesotan accent haha. 日本楽しんでください!

"The beauty of nature in Japan is often overlooked..." Yes, it is absolutely true. Most non-Japanese tourists just visit major places in big cities, which do not represent everything in Japan. Visiting the countryside of Japan is definitely fun. Unfortunately, however, it is still not easy to approach there for non-Japanese tourists. But at the same time "overtourisme" must be avoided.
