The fact that Somalia is in a strategic location is also a redundant point as we have much more stable, rich and powerful allies in that region and one of our largest military installations is in Cyprus - Granting us access to the med, North Africa and the Middle East. What a shame they just entered military compounds and gave a very narrow outdated narrative. British KZbinrs freely visit the city. They didn't even show the new airport and 5 star hotel lol

I think the Somali soldiers should have had three meals a day and been given boots to replace their flip flops. That is necessary to be "ready to learn" as the teachers say in the US and also in this case "ready to do." These men will be facing an enemy ready to kill them very soon. Give them the advantage of being in a fit state to train and retain. I hope to God the US provides its trainees from improperly supplied armies with what they need to be able to learn, do and retain. Otherwise we are largely wasting our time and theirs. 7/5/21

He tried so hard to make Somalia look bad. It’s actually Qatar and prosperous rich countries that fund Alshabab. We might not have rations but we’ll still take the fight to them while they have plenty resources from the Arab countries who mainly export terrorism and oil. He made a big fool of himself.
